The Thoughts of Her Mind

A question spun in her mind,
The answers she could never find.
“What does this future hold? Do I already know?”
The road seems narrower now,
and she remembers something once foretold.

A place was hers if she wanted to go,
For every reason she had she said no.
But in her heart she felt sorrow,
Like a space left hollow,

An instinct,
without feeling to follow...
