That's HERA in her writer's tiara

That is simply envy
When others tell you how ugly your dress is
Pathetic, they can not even argue as
to your becoming the Prima Donna
For you have the centerstage where
You could perform the magician's acts
It is much to my surprise to be one
With the Prima Donna but that is,
I have writer's block before I even finish it
To stick with what you believe is ETHICAL
is not morally liable to your philosophy
Sometimes you have to let it pass
And prove them all wrong
When Da Vinci painted Monalisa
Did he have any fans like these days?
Do you believe everyone applauded him
With left-handed compliments
Are you sure the eyebrow seems pretty
On those days where Helen of Troy
Is on her majestic chariot with Paris
As they eloped with true love?
That is the parallel lives with writing
When people think you are good
When others are just jealous of prominence
When everyone gives you some piece
Of advice to keep you going
That is how Zeus left Hera
To seek for another goddess
On the starry horizon of void
There lived so many stars out in the heavens
Where they are just in contentment
To see how they have helped each other shine
In grandeur, in a symphony of camaraderie
Not HERA in her WRITING TIARA...

Well I found this poem really hard to read. It was all over the place, and either very elaborate metaphors or just very random...I couldn't really decipher what this is supposed to be about, and felt very confused, but that might only be me being thick skulled. But the pink font, and no punctuation made it really hard to read. Quick question, why is this all in caps?

To stick with what you believe is ETHICAL
Anyway my suggestions- Punctuation besides question marks, it makes it so much easier to get through...and drop the colored font.

I loved this...my favorite part in the whole poem :D. But I really had a hard time trying to grasp the message in this poem, maybe next time try and focus on what you're trying to say instead of elaborate metaphors.

I kind of agree with purple pastel.
Also, the purple font is kind of unnecessary. The poem is neat enough (and hard enough to decipher XD) as itis, with black font.

how ironic, that I end every review with "Keep writing!"
You shame me.
I think... are you comparing Hera to yourself and your work as a writer, saying that all other gods and goddesses helped each other while ignoring Hera and, likewise, all these writers skulk around poetically in their dark corners and ignore or degrade you and your writing?
Ha. Brilliant work, though you should probably get a second opinion from someone smarter than me.
And Hera was always my favorite goddess. I loathe Athena.

That was interesting....i could definitely see that being performed in one of those poetry slam....things. What was it about though?? I dont know, maybe i just cant comprehend the elaborate symbolism...or maybe there is no symbolism and im missing the whole point.

What i got was a writer who sees the critical world with disgust, not liking the favoritism and such.

but anyways...nice work here.

Some call me a legacy, others call me a hero. But I assure you, dear admirers, I am only human.
