so why can't I?
Cliffs are for falling;
so why won't I?
»»» I tried to jump;
but I am here still
I almost fell;
but almost is never enough.
»»» Can I jump, fall,
and never come back
No, because of you
That lifts me up afterwards.
»»» You bring me;
from the brink of it all
You lift me up;
and take me back there.
»»» Though we know;
I will jump again
You are always ready
To take me back up.
»»» You make me miserable;
why won't you go?
I make you work always;
why won't you quit?
»»» You're always here;
when I don't want that
But that is always;
and never at all.
»»» It is because of you;
I am high above the hill
Still hating you;
but still past the cliff.
»»» Now I'm resigned
To letting you win
And letting you in
So I'll let you work.
»»» So go ahead;
Lifting, if you will
As you want to do
Till it goes as it should.

Heyo, Braiden here for a review on Review Day!
Alright, I thought this was FANTASTIC! LIke CateRose17 said, certain people can relate to this on a very personal level, and I am DEFINITELY one of those people. I thought this poem had a lot of emotion in it, and it seems as of you really connect with this feeling because of the accuracy in which you wrote it.
I loved the "Why can't I" "Why won't I" at the beginning. I love the confusion and questioning it portrays.
Overall, fantastic poem, like I said before. You are really talented! Keep writing!

Thanks for the review, Braiden
Let's see. It's 2 am and I don't know much about the technicality of poems, but I do know a lot about most of the content, especially this kind of content. Many people take poetry and might gain different things from it because it speaks to them. This poem in particular speaks to me because I've been there, I've been at that cliff, that hill, but someone has always pulled me away every time I go back. It shows me that there's a reason.
All your words are placed in the right place and thought out. It's not just a piece that is thrown together, it's well written. I loved it. You've got talent and I cannot wait to see where you go with your writing.
Thanks a bunch,im sorry i took so long to reply but I really appreciate the fact that you wrote this.

Hey, good job!
I love the message you have and your word chose is also really great. You gave no grammatical errors that I saw either.
The main problem with your poem is its flow is very uneven making it hard to read.
I'm going to go over each stanza and list my opinions/ideas to fix it.
so this first stanza is very good no problems.
so this one is ok but the last line doesn't fit length whys. You could fix it by just taking out the almost and I don't think it would affect the message.
this one is ok to but the last line doesn't fit length whys once again. You could fix it by just taking out afterwords.
this one is ok and doesn't really need editing.
again this one is ok.
again this is ok.
again ok.
again ok.
This one is ok.
Anyway overall this was really good and I enjoyed it. Hope I was a help.
Good Luck and Keep Writing
