Like Pixels

Spoiler! :
I'm not going to say why this is important, but I'll tell you it is: There's a little technique in computer graphics called back buffering, where the computer draws the next frame on the screen "behind" what you currently see. Once it's drawn, it replaces the current frame.

I thought once,
how I could change the world,
if I just tried.

Then I knew,
I could'nt change the world,
we're like pixels.

All so insignificant,
just a number,
with a location,
and a color.

Always somebody getting ready,
behind us,
just to replace you,
and then your face to be,
rearanged, repurposed, recycled.

See we leave our footsteps all over,
they reach far and wide,
touch many,
change thier lives.

But as quickly as they spread,
they slowly die out.

Maybe one person will try,
to be the rebel.

Then again they die out,
like a fad,
just as quickly as they came.

And,
when you put it all together,
it's all so short,
and in the long run:

It means nothing.

Spoiler! :
Gir, I can't upload Gifs... There's a little one I made that belongs here. But I don't know how to get it on the web now. I did attach a Gif though via zip if your truly interested!

Hey Shadow,

You're the lucky winner of my 3 AM review! Aren't you happy?

For the poem, I really liked you message. I completely relate to how you feel, and love the comparisons.

You have a few spelling mistakes is all :

I could'nt change the world, couldn't
we're like pixels.

and then your face to be,
rearanged, repurposed, recycled.

Rearranged

touch many,
change thier lives.

Their

Anyway. I think you should work a little bit on how you split your line, and the fact that you have way to many commas. Nicely written. Hope my 3AM review helped.

PM me or post on my wall if you have any questions!

If you upload it to a website you can post it. I post pixels here all the times.
