When god made the humans, he told the angels to love the humans as much as they loved him, but he knew that they had to meet the humans to do that. So he send he's biggest 4 sons down as the first to meet the humans. Lucifer had It hard at first to see why he should love the humans, they were greedy, vengeful, and everything he and his family didn’t stand for, but still god loved them.

The other brothers didn’t take long to see the good in the humans and then could come back.

But it took Lucifer almost 100 years before he finally found a reason to love the humans.

Or love a human.

In a city long forgotten he found a young woman, even though she had suffered all her life. Her faith in god was strong, and her goodness was magnificent even though she didn’t have much herself. She was a saint, a saint that lived on the street taken care of other kids.

If he was a human, he would have called her an angel.

She find him, dehydrated in the dessert, and even though she didn’t have much, she gave him her last water. She cares for him the next couple of days, while still taking care of the street kids.

He doesn't need the care, but is fascinated over that a person that doesn’t have much, give it all to others. She took care of him for 3 weeks, but in all, there were together a year.

He felt things he never thought were possible.

And the best of it was, he know understood what he's brother told him about love for other than god. He loved humanity because of her. But he loved her, even more than he loved god.

And god wasn’t happy about that, the angels shouldn’t love on more than others, so he tried to separate them, but Lucifer kept going back to her. So god gave him a choice, him or her. He got 3 days to decide. But Lucifer knew from the start who, he would choose, so he hide her where he thought she would be safe till he could get her, cause he knew he would be cast out of heaven. His plan was to tell god he choose her, and then live his life with her. What he didn’t know was that while e talked to god, Michael found her and killed her. Lucifer could feel it in his grace, when the life ebbed from her. He had given her some of his grace so there were linked.

He could feel it like it was himself that died.

God thought that if he couldn’t make him come home willingly, he just had to remove the reason why. But Lucifer got mad, he felt like a part of him had died. So he began to become gruesome and evil to the other angels. And he began to get vengeful, planned to kill god and Michael, which had cost him so much joy from his life. But god finds out and cast Lucifer from heaven, Lucifer is so filled with rage that he creates hell and its demons, he want revenge. He does everything to make life miserable for the them, that took his love away. But he soon finds out, that she is not completely gone, his grace saved her soul.

So she was reborn, he made the demons search for her, but every time they found her, the angels had already killed her. He's anger get worse and worse, and in the end he let it out on the humans that the angels and god loves so much, so they can feel the pain they cost him every time they kills her. For thousands of years he searched for her, but doesn’t get there in time.

Until one day he finally finds her first.

Or that’s what he thought, he had decided to get her himself but finds angels hovered over her dead parents body that had gotten killed while trying to protect their child. The angels tried to kill him, but he was to powerful, before an archangel and now king of hell, they couldn’t kill him.

He finds her hidden under her bed with a big plush bunny clutched into her chest.

He sees she's only around the 6 years this time.

He realizes he must look scary, covered in blood and his white angel wings soaked in blood.

But assure her that he's here to safe her from the bad people and she for some reason believe him and take the hand he had reached for her with.

The same blue eyes that had looked at him with love for over 3 thousand years ago now look at him, with sadness and fright. But he know it's not towards him, for he can still feel the grace he left in her blush up, when she had taken his hand. And he knows that her soul still remembers him, even though her mind can't.

He takes her up in his arm and ask her to closes her eyes. She does what he asks even though she should be terrified. But she believes he is an angel that god sent from heaven to protect her, her mom always said that angels were good. She did not know that he was a fallen angel, an angel that was fall for her. He hold her like a seashell and listened to the heartbeat he had looked for in thousands of years. He opens the gate to hell in the floor, pulls his wings around himself and step down. They fall forever, she hold herself tightly into him while still holding on to the bunny, he brushes her over the hair while looking for the sign to opens his wings.

And he sees it, the first glimpse of hells fire, he quickly opens his wings and let the gas push them up. They fly over hell for half an hour until they come to his castle that is in the corner of hell.

He lands in the yard that’s full of flowers and trees.

He had made his gardens after what he remembers of heaven so she would not be scared when he finally finds her. He closes the wall around them, make the wall fill the above to and instead of show hell sky she will now see a bright sky above her.

He knew he had to make sure she didn’t found out where she was.

He completely close his castles off, so no one can come out, and only a few knows the way to come in or out. He knew he had to make sure she didn’t know she was in hell, but he also know she would have to know who he was. But that she had to make her own option what she think of him.

And that he would never hurt her, no matter what people thought of him, he didn’t care, all that he cared for what this tiny little human thought of him.

***

I look at her little face while she sleeps next to me with the bunny in one hand and a grasp of my feathers in the other. I can't help but smile and touch her chin, she have been with me for fourteen days now. It's finally like she's relax, and feel like this is her home.

The first week she woke up every night screaming after her dad and mom, she remembers the day I found her. I know she misses them even though she doesn't show it, my brave little soldier.

But after she began to sleep with me I can erase her nightmares and only let the good dreams come in. I smile over the dream she's dreaming, she's out skating with her dad.

First she was scared of all the new, and at she couldn’t come out of the castle, but now she seems to have accepted it. She is together with me all day, today she played with some of my feathers on the floor while I did my paperwork.

There is something calming with her by my side singing softly with her light girl voice.

The demons things it weird that they have to hide they demons side so they look like humans, but she doesn't have to think more of where she is then she already those, she know where she is.

But somehow she's not scared of me even though her parents were catholic and probably told her a lot of bad thing about me. But she told me she can't be afraid of me when I saved her from the bad men. If only she knew that those bad men, were angels send from god to kill her.

She opens her eyes and look at me with a little smile still drowsy

,, shouldn’t you also be sleeping? Mom used to tell me even the devil has to sleep” I laugh softly and remove the brown curls look from her eyes.

,, I don’t sleep. My mind has the scary capability of being dark and demented”

,, so you are scared of your dreams?”

,, yes, yes I am” I say softly, Sara put her hand on my chin and reaches up and kiss my forehead.

,, there, now all the bad dreams are gone, mummy used to do that to me, when I had a scary dream” she said and cuddle up to my chest, her breath gets heavy and soon she has fallen asleep.

I can't help but smile and hold her close to me, still afraid if I close my eyes, even for a second that when I open them, she will be gone. Snatched right under my nose, and I don’t think I can handle that once again. She is such a brave child, and she has been that for day one.

She looks at me with tearful eyes while holding on to her bunny ,, where am we? where is this place?” she whimpers and move away from me, I look down at myself and realize I'm probably very scary when I'm covered in blood like that ,, it's okay sweetheart, it's okay now, you safe, they can't hurt you anymore, I promise” I go down In her height and speak softly while showing my hands, she look around and seem to relax a bid when she sees the calm environment.

,, who are you?” she ask with a trembling voice, but it doesn't seem as it is me she's afraid of.

,, Demon to some, angel to others. My name is Lucifer” her eyes get big and her little mouth open like an O. She moves closer and touches my forehead like she search for something, I realize what it is, and begin to laugh ,, I know in the bible I have horns, and some books I am red. But don’t worry no hidden horns under the hair or a tail” I say and gently remove her tiny hands.

She wrinkles her nose and sniffs the air “ you get accustomed to the smell” I say when I realize she probably can smell the sulfur over the smell of the flowers.

I hear footsteps coming our way and look up to see Sebastian almost running over the grass plane.

His bright purple eyes look worried at me ,, Lucifer! There you are, we have been-“ he see her and stops in his tracks ,, -isn’t that?”I nod enthusiastically and put my finger over my mouth.

She looks stunned at him and move closer to me, Sebastian goes down to his knees and smile reassuring to her. Her tense shoulders begin to relax and she smiles a little smile back at him.

,, and what's your name sweetheart?” he ask softly with the silver voice that have lured many people to their death, and to their savior, but I know he could never hurt her. Sebastian is my oldest friend and he fell at my side when we were kicked out of heaven. ,, my name is Sara, Sara Blackmore” she tells us and takes Sebastian’s hand. He pull her up in his arms and put her on his hip and smile at me ,, well Sara, not only does Lucifer need a bath. You sure do too.” I look at her and see her white dress I now covered in blood after at have clinched to me ,, so lets us get you in a bathtub while Lucifer also gets a bad shall we?” she nods and point at the bunny that I have in my hands, I quickly give it to her and just stand there with a big grin on my face when I see Sebastian walk away with her. I finally got her.

I understand that you've never written in English before, and it does show in the text. I won't sugarcoat it--you change your tenses like Katy Perry changes clothes, and it is very distracting. I'll list out a couple of them now, but the rest I'll leave out. I suggest using a proofreader next time.

(Also, no, this introduction does not mean I didn't like the work's idea. That's for later.)

-"So he send he's biggest 4 sons down as the first to meet the humans" So he sent his 4 biggest sons down to meet the first humans. (he's is a contraction of he is, his is possessive, ie his stuff. Also, biggest 4 sons is more of a syntax error than anything).

-"Lucifer had It hard at first to see why he should love the humans" Lucifer found it hard at first to see why he should love humans.

-"The other brothers didn’t take long to see the good in the humans and then could come back." The other brothers didn't take long to see the good in humans and came back.

-"In a city long forgotten he found a young woman, even though she had suffered all her life." Not sure why you would have 'even though' in there. Switch it with 'who', as in 'a young woman who had suffered all her life'.

-" She was a saint, a saint that lived on the street taken care of other kids." Taking care of other kids. Taken care of other kids means that she herself is being parented by children, not that she is parenting other children.

-"She find him" She found him. (This is a big problem in the work. The story you're telling is clearly in the past, so it should be in past tense, but you keep using the present tense.)

-"she gave him her last water." She gave him the last of her water (Syntax, sorry).

-"She cares for him the next couple of days, while still taking care of the street kids." Again, past tense, not present tense. She cared for him the next couple of days.

-"He doesn't need the care, but is fascinated over that a person that doesn’t have much, give it all to others. She took care of him for 3 weeks, but in all, there were together a year." He didn't need the care, but he was fascinated by her. Also, there are other mistakes, but if I talk about all the tense problems we'll be here all day. Besides, I have other talking points to address.

-"he know understood what he's brother told him about love for other than god. " He now understood what his brother told him about love for something other than god.

-" the angels shouldn’t love on more than others" The angels shouldn't love anything more than God.

-"He got 3 days to decide." He had three days to decide.

-There were a lot more issues here, but again, if I address them all I'd spend too much time on this section in the review. Major problems--use past tense when writing, since this is in the past, and also make sure you don't mistake he's for his or any of the other mistakes I've already pointed out. A good way to do this is through free proofreaders like Grammarly, so I think that's worth a try.

-"The demons things it weird" The demons think it's weird.

-"she has been that for day one." She's been that since day one.

-"where am we?" Where are we.

Now, onto the more substantial portion of this review:

I feel the need to say this, right here, right now, because my criticisms will make me sound a bit harsh and obviously this reason will come up when I'm done. "Why do you dislike the work? Is it because you're religious?" Oh, no. Oh, no no no. Trust me on this when I say that I'm glad that there's a work that calls God out on his bullshit. More power to blasphemers, if you ask me. But that's not the point here. I'm not criticizing this work because it's pro-Lucifer--I'm criticizing this work because it lacks several things.

1) Character Development, AKA fleshing out all the characters. I understand. This is meant to be a short story. It's hard to flesh out characters in less than 4000 words. But you see, that's why we have books. The thing about short stories is that their strengths don't lie in character relationships or worldbuilding or anything that takes more than 1000 words to describe alone, it lies in ideas and plot. This story, while it does have a good plot, requires characters to back that plot up. Slightly fleshed out caricatures are good to use, but in this case I imagine it'd be a little more difficult as it involves a lot more than two major characters--God, Sara, Lucifer, Michael, all of these characters have to be significantly fleshed out for this to work. My suggestion? Either a) make this into a full-fledged novel and post the chapters here, or b) look at this, and pick one scene to write a short story around. Yes, I know. It sounds ridiculous, but it actually works. If you made a scene entirely surrounding the death of Sara, it would be much more powerful than the story we have now, I promise you. The dramatic concentration is stronger, and it's not diluted with worldbuilding or elaborate subplots.

2) Prose. Look, I'll be honest--I like fancy prose, but I know that it can get obstructive. However, when a prose sounds like you're reading a Wikipedia article on a good movie, I'm not sure if it would captivate anyone per se. You can easily fix prose with good characters, as seen above, or just leave it plain but have it actually allow the readers to see into the characters minds.

3) Plot. Alright, I'll admit it. I'm somewhat biased, because I'm not into romantic stuff. This reminds me of Twilight, and that doesn't have to be a bad thing, it's just not a very good thing in this case. I think I saw a deeper purpose behind this--to expose God as a possessive fool who won't allow love for anyone but him, to sympathize with the devil--but as far as this was executed, it just sort of felt like someone tried to make the devil seem nice by giving him a love interest. This isn't a bad way to do it. It's just a way that needs more development to actually work. As I said before, the strength of this story doesn't rely on the plot, it relies on the characters and how well you execute them. Which is why I think it would be worth making it into a novel or at least taking one scene and leaving it at that.

4) The message. I have no problem with the message. Which is the main problem I do have with the message. This is Lucifer we're talking about, the human idea of evil in one demon body. You could use this opportunity to do so much, explore the unfairness of God, the treachery of love, anything--and I'll give credit where credit is due, you seem like you were trying. But it just came off very flat and inoffensive. It didn't say anything new to me, it didn't really shock me or make me think twice about evil. To me, it was just another 'misunderstood' storyline, and I've grown sick of the misunderstood storyline because it rarely ever makes the person involved look anymore complex. But the misunderstood storyline can work, if done well. And in this one, it just lacked the skill to reach that potential.

And that's most of the things I have with this work. I feel like you might not work on this again, which is fine, because this sort of thing needs some time to fix. But if you do plan to develop it more, that would be great. We do need more works like this--just, more developed is all.

Signing out,

--EM.

This is a good long story and a interesting depiction of hell, with a few errors of course.
For one, the plot seems to fast paced to be able to fully enjoy, try focusing more on the characters than the plot.
For two, there are several english errors, I see that this is your first work in english, but that might not be a good excuse most of the time, try to improve on your English.
And for three, a good bit of the quotation are at the bottom of the line, it may be some grammatical symbol I can't understand, if you are going to do dialogue, make sure the quotations are in the correct place.
This is a good first story, just try to work on your English, and go in depth with the plot and you will have a memorable story.
