Judgement. Its everywhere. There's somebody judging you at any given point in time. The society- the 'civilised' society that sets the rules about whats normal and what's not. The community you live in- the one that fixes 'your' values and ethics for you. The family- the one that takes care of you and 'believes' in you. The friends- the very friends that you'd spend your every free moment with if you could. That one best friend- the one that knows every little thing about you, the one you'd trust with your life. Even that sweetheart that says "Don't worry, I won't judge you. You can tell me anything." Yes - they're all judging you. Truth is: Every time you say or do something that isn't normal or typical of you, people will immediately judge you. Some express it more than others. But they're all doing it.
See. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure they don't mean to judge (Well, most of them anyway.) We all know this. Even if we're not fully aware of it, we know on a subconscious level at least. That's why we keep secrets from our best friends. And that's where insecurity and inferiority complex come from.
Yet. We risk the judgment. We put ourselves out there. Again and again. Sometimes we yeild good results. We gain friends or 'significant ones' - although in my opinion friends are significant as they get - who are there just when we need, sometimes even when we don't. Sometimes the results aren't so good. We get our hearts broken by betrayal, backstabbing and broken promises. Which really once you think about it, all stem from judgement.
But the funny (?) thing is you can't hide from judgement no matter how hard you try. Because the worst kind of judgement is the one in your own head. Because. People judge themselves. some judge themselves lightly, others rather harshly. The thing is: You can't run away from the person who knows you best, knows your every flaw, every mistake you've ever made. You just can't.
As much as some people say they don't care about being judged, truth is they do. Judgement from one person or another gets to them. Deep down, a little part of them flinches at every word of critisism.
But we live on. Everyone is judging. I would say its "Human" nature. But heck, even God's judging us.

I agree that everyone judges everyone all the time but I think you have put it in a rather negative light. When someone says "You can tell me, I won't judge" and they're being truthful, they will judge but they wont let that new piece of information alter their oppinion of the person (Not all the time but most of the time.) Also, judgement is not always bad. I really liked this article but I think you should explore the consequences of judgement further.
