Dear world:
Inside a furnace something grows inside me,
A determination, a steel certainty,
That what I believe is true.
Even as much sense as it does not make, I have this faith inside of me,
That tells me that what you say just isn’t right for me. I’m going to find my own way, the different way.
The right way.
If only tears were laughter, if only night were day,
Then I could have electrifying hope in the face of despair.
My defiance is one of quiet acceptance.
No matter what they say.
And I will keep on keeping on, I will fight against the darkness for as long as there is darkness to fight,
No matter if everything goes wrong.
I believe deep inside, that I couldn’t change even if I try.
I can’t imagine a life different from this. I can’t deny what I am, and I won’t try,
Because I know that this time, I am right.
I can’t deny what I believe. I cannot fake what I am not. I know it is different,
But I’m not going to give up what I believe.
That this is right, and by defiance of the dark I will find true light.
I know in a place where words just cannot get through,
That what I believe is right. That this is real. I know who I am and though my path is clouded,
I know what I believe is true.
So stop your implications that I should change my ways,
So lower your standards and don’t judge something you don’t recognize.
You don’t understand, I can understand that, too.
But if you don’t understand, then don’t tell me what I believe isn’t true,
No matter what they throw at me. Life can’t get through…
Because when you’re as faithful as I, you just know what you believe is true.
If I get lost, I’ll find way back to a path I know you can’t travel with me,
Fear for me if you will, but I’ll come home again one day, and maybe then I’ll come back brand new,
Because I know this path leads to something great because if you believe in something,
You should never let it slip away,
No matter what others say to you; I have a destiny rarely seen or fought for, but there.
And I believe that I’m doing, as small as it may seem, is at least the right direction for me,
I may not be kept so safe, so warm or so sane,
But at the end of this journey I know I’ll be able to say…
What I believed is true.
And I’m not the same person you knew, because I’ve seen a new sun,
My sun and isn’t it grand?
Because I believed it was there for me, and maybe even for you.
A solitary sort of sun. Only found by those who travel alone, and who always believe,
That what they know is true.
No matter what they call me, no matter how they bring me down,
Its only furthering my cause,
To find what is true.
I can’t deny this feeling inside, I won’t lie to you about how sometimes I doubt,
But I won’t give up.
I believe this is true. I believe this is right. I am marching up a road I know you won’t go,
So I’ll just travel on my own,
Because the strong stand alone.
I’ll meet you at the mountaintop, and tell you all about my whereabouts there,
And then we’ll all see,
That the best things are not found the normal way,
But by belief.
This is stupid, arrogant and unlikely,
But trust me when I say to you…
What I believe is true.

Hmmm, nice poem. I like the poem, and how you determine all the words. This poem really came up perfectly. And the determining the furnace which is likened too.......It's Sound interesting to read by all of the people around the world.
But I see some of the punctuation marks errors are not really fit some of it.Like "Its" maybe you mean "It's"But don't worry everyone commit mistake, right?
It's really a nice poem and clever poem and the words really fit the poem!
Other than that, I thought that your word usage and writing was well written. I also liked how you write the word true at the end of the poem. I really like this poem. Title also fit at this poem but maybe something shorter though and be sure that you to make those errors correct but anyway it's really okay for it. I hope you write more and more of this kind of poem.
Hmmm, interesting poem. I reaaally loved the beginning, and how you likened determination to a furnace. And this poem seems like it was written exactly as you saw it in your head, which makes the read that much more interesting.

Ok, my inner Grammar Nazi is begging to be released, so I'll start with that.
"Inside a furnace something grows inside me," There should be a comma after furnace, because "inside a furnace" is a prepositional phrase, and there should be a semicolon after "me".
"Even as much sense as it does not make,"
You are completely correct in that this does not make any sense to me whatsoever, though it does sound very poetic
"I believe deep inside, that I couldn’t change even if I try."
Remove the comma.
"You don’t understand, I can understand that, too."
Semicolon instead of comma, please.
"I’ll find way back to a path"
Insert a "my" or "a" in-between "find way".
"And I believe that I’m doing,"
Insert "what" between "that I'm".
"My sun and isn’t it grand?"
Comma after "sun".
"Its only furthering my cause,"
Put apostrophe in "It's".
I really enjoyed this piece, and I really hope that you'll revise the simple grammar stuff so I can see the final product in all its glory!
Hope you find this helpful!
Great poem! I just finished reading this I really thought that it was well-written. I really don't have a lot to pick at except for a few punctuation errors.

"Its only furthering my cause," I think that "Its" should be "It's".
"I'll meet you at the mountaintop, and tell you all about my whereabouts there," There shouldn't be a comma before the word "and" because it isn't a complex sentence. If you want the reader to pause there, I would suggest making the rest another line. Also, the part about telling you about my whereabouts there sounds to long and wordy. You might say, "and tell you of my whereabouts," or something like that.
Other than that, I thought that your word usage and writing was well done. I also liked how you italicized the last word, "true". I really like this poem. You should name this poem something shorter though and be sure that you capitalize the words that should be capitalized. I hope you continue writing.
