Love to see a fellow artist!
My only things are...
I'd give the strings on the balloons a clear attachment point. Like a bow.
I love the attention to shading and color. It's bright and eye catching which I love. The balloons are by far my favorite. The brown one in the bottom right corner undermines the bright colors though. It sticks out in a bad way.
I second cocteau's comment on the drips on the popsicle. Giving them more variety would definitely help
Overall I was really impressed and I really want to see more of your art out there!

Thanks for the review!

hey there eszterv!

It's always nice to see art in the Green Room! I do second LadyMysterio's comment about the Art and Photography forum -> it's a great way to keep track of your progress over time, as well as sharing your art without using points.

As for the art itself, I love how much attention was given to colour! The popsicle especially has a neat look because the pink topping drips down in an eye-catching way, and the little sprinkles make it feel even more lively. I like that! Though, the drips could look more realistic if some were thinner and some were thicker since real icing usually falls in different ways. I'd also suggest to play around with light and shadow, especially since the shading on the bottom and stick is already a nice touch. You really have an eye for shading; I think you should lean into your talent!

The balloons are also lovely because each one has its own colour and highlight, which makes them feel shiny and light, like actual balloons you'd see in the real world. One thing I'd say to work on, though, would be the strings because they could connect a little more neatly to the balloons. I also think they could gather more naturally at the bottom of the page. Do you see how they all connect instead of flowing out in other directions? I'm not very aware of balloon mechanics, but I believe they would go outwards rather than inwards.

The cherries (berries?) are probably my favourite! I think they are the strongest in terms of boldness for me; the red and blue contrast was a great choice. I feel that the leaves add a nice natural detail at the top, and they kept drawing my attention. I would say to practice making the stems a little smoother and making the leaves more balanced since they could be shaped more carefully. They have great detail - they seem jagged like real leaves, but that detail is inconsistent throughout. I'd love to see that detail carried through both of them.

Anyways, please keep drawing and sharing your work!

best,
cocteau

Wow! Thanks for the review! I'll definitely start posting my works on the forum.

Also, these are only coloring sheets. I didn't draw the objects myself. I only colored them. Although, I think I'll try to color my own sketches......

Hi, If you'd like, so you don't have to use points. You can make a thread in the forums! Lots of people post their art there. I will link it here. But you can find it under the "forums" Tab on the main page, and then scroll down until you find the one titled "art and photography"

Thanks! I didn't know that.

Hello there! I think these drawings look very fun and whimsical, in addition to the summer vibes of the subjects.
Though I do have a technical suggestion for the second drawing, that the darkness of the shadow should not be a linear gradient toward the darkest value (except for things in space), but rather a bit dark- dark- darkest- not-so-dark.
Regardless of that, I think you did a great job at coloring because you really make them pop. Anyway, keep up the good work, and I look forward to other art you make!
