WOW

this is for my creative writing class. They made us do some stupid poem with the theme being "wow". so i had absolutely no idea what to write about......



Wow is a word that most people would think
If they saw a green hand crawling out of their sink
And startled themselves with a shrill, piercing scream
As they snap back to life to find out it’s a dream.

Wow is a word that most people would say
If they heard a horse bark or a dog start to neigh
Or if some old lady, were to give birth
To some disfigured mutant, which planed to rule earth.

If the clouds were to break and release from the sky,
Powder, white snow in the midst of July
And flakes spiraled down to the frosty white bed
Wow is the word that would race through your head.

Wow is a word that most people would use
If they cannot describe or just simply can’t choose
A word that they need to describe or ask how.
This is the reason I hate the word wow.
