Him and Her -Chapter 2 Part 3

PreviousNext

When I woke up the bright sun was shining through the light green curtains that hung above my windows.   The birds were singing a sweet melody that reminded me of the days before high school.

I rubbed my eyes, stretched then picked up my phone that was neatly laying on my bedside table ontop of  my book. Eight o’ clock it read.

I groaned . Friday is just another day at school for students to slack off and talk about weekend plans. My   weekend plans was taking on another hour at the theater to get some extra money, just great.

Ten minutes later I managed to pull myself out of bed and into the shower taking longer then usual to      wash my hair so my little sister would get mad.

I dried off and changed into a fresh white short sleeve shirt and a pair of blue skinny jeans. I blow dried my    hair and combed it. Then went into my room and dug around in my dresser until I found my favorite light blue    crop top with pink and purple stripes, and a big red heart in the middle with rainbow colored letters that read   peace.

I half walked half hopped down the stairs in my clean white socks and sat down at the kitchen table in   front of  a bowl filled with captain crunch and milk I picked up my spoon and slowly ate.

After breakfast I put on my tennis shoes and filled my backpack with my binder, book and water bottle. I ran upstairs to put on my jacket and fill my pockets with my brand new MP3 player and phone.

There was a knock at the door I peeked my head out my bedroom door and yelled down to my mum and   little sister, Wendy. “I got it!” I yelled as I swung my backpack over my shoulders and ran downstairs. I opened  the door and found it to be Aria.

“Hey Ari.” I said leaving the door open for her to come in. Today she was dressed in green short shorts and   a white tank top featuring her favorite band, All Time Low.

      “Hey Ell. Ready to go?”

“Yeah, just a sec.” I put both my arms through my backpack and took my phone out of my pocket and saw that Chase texted me seven time while I was asleep at two in the morning.

“Whos that?” Aria asked looking over my shoulder trying to get a peek at what I was writing.

“Oh, just Chase.” I said and stuffed my phone back into my pocket.

“Again?” Aria said, starting to turn towards the door.

“Yep.” I answered her and followed her out the door, closing it behind me.

“Wow he must really like you.” She said getting her keys out of her bag and unlocking her car.

“Nah, he’s just worried.” I opened the passenger door and sat down.

“If you say so.” She said giggling.

We both buckled up quickly as Aria pulled out of my driveway and headed to school.

  **

I sat down as the glossy marble table and began to eat my hamburger. Aria wasn’t here yet, which was   weird because she had gym right before lunch so she was almost always here before me.

I looked around quietly, then I saw Chase noisily making his way to the table, he looked angry, angry at me.   But, what did I do?

He sat down and grabbed my wrists making me drop my hamburger.

“What the hell where doing talking to Luke Stewart!” He whispered loudly. Holding my wrists tightly and   staring into my eyes angrily.

“H-he was a customer.” I said my voice shaking with fear.

“Well I’m going to have to fix that, like I fix everything.” He let go of my wrists and stomped outside.

I ran after him and caught him at the wall outside.

“Don’t you dare do anything to luke!” I yelled.

He grabbed me and pushed me against the wall. He wanted to hurt me I knew it but when he looked   around the field there were several teachers staring at him.

He turned back to me slowly his eyes seemed black in the light of day.

He pushed his lips into mine firmly as he let go of my wrists and tried to look like he was harmless. I closed   my eyes not wanting to stare into his. He pulled back and whispered into my ear.

“Don’t even think that I’m done with you.”

He turned and walked swiftly and silently back into the school building. My back slid against the wall and I   was soon sitting on the hard concrete floor, My head was in my lap and I was crying my eyes out.

Oh my goodness! Keep it coming!
