An empty page,
Staring at me, Glaring at me.
Daring me to defile it's perfect state,
Smiling at all my failed attempts.
To begin, commence, start.
The hardest part of this mammoth task.
To overcome this obstacle,
It would seem straight forward enough.
A blank mind,
Nothing to say and nothing to write.
Just to be recognized and appreciated.
By someone, by anyone.
To hear my name spoken aloud.
With praise and thanks,
If only I could,
Then I would write the first words.

Writers block, got to love it. This poem really caputred my attention with its title because the first thing I think of when I read or hear "white room" is insanity and insanity can be caused in writers by writers block. I think you may have captured that idea unintentionaly. Its a fairly short poem, but honestly what else can you write when you know you have to write something, but nothing will come out.

i loved your poem. It was great. This happens to me a lot when I'm writing. I'll sit there for hours and not think of anything to say. It sucks. but i liked your poem because it was true about so many of us writers out there. lol.
haha i have always come across these problems
facing the empty page, desperate to make out stuff but in the end i failed to write anything.
when writing, the hardest part is to write the introduction. lol
i love your poem.
blank mind... (^^) yea me too~
