So over the past few months I have become some what obsessed with the book "The Blood Confession." I think some of you will enjoy it as well.
How many of you have heard the old wives tale of the women that bathed in blood and stayed young for eternity? (Another example of this is in Snow White, when the queen attempts to eat her heart to absorb her beauty, though eats a pigs heart instead.) Well this is a book written through the eyes of the Evil Queen (or in this case the countess).
Strong themes throughout the book are vanity and power.
It's a very good read, and actually takes a very in depth look at human nature. I wouldn't recommend this book to someone who doesn't like graphic scenes though.
