Dreams are empty

Hi :) im not a regular poetry person so if i've put this in the wrong genre let me know...

She walks inside of me
Between shredded muscle and fractured bone
She waits for eyes to open
So she can shine through,
With ultraviolet x-ray.
Outside is dark but free

The waves swell and
Lull her mind into peace
And the wind growls and
Whips her resolution back
And the girl inside

Laughs manically with mirth
Between myrtle, hemlock, ivy and yew
She waits for cracks to form
So to seep while I sleep
With thorns of poison that stick
To insides empty of worth
She drifts away in
The current and
Floats into the
Nothingness of the
Horizon that's fading
into the sky

Screams in tranquility
Dreams that are blasphemy
Wake me!
Wake me,
These dreams are empty

hi! I'm drama and Imma review you today.

She walks inside of me.
Between shredded muscle, and fractured bone,
She waits for eyes to open,

Outside is dark but free

The waves swell and
Lulling her mind into peace.

And the wind growls, and
Whips her resolution back,
And the girl inside.

Laughs manically with mirth-
Between myrtle, hemlock, ivy and yew.
She waits for cracks to form,
So to seep while I sleep.
With thorns of poison that stick,
To insides empty of worth.
She drifts away in
the current,
Floats into the
nothingness of the
horizon that's fading,
Into the sky

Screams in tranquility,
Dreams that are blasphemy.
Wake me!
Wake me,
These dreams are empty.

Nice closing.

The only thing I have to say is, your punctuality and format was a little off. I fixed it for you though. ;)
Nice poem!

I'm not a regular poetry person, either, so I'm not sure how well I'll be able to review this.

First off, I loved it. Reminds me of an Evanescence song I listened to recently. Your imagery is incredible, and the poem itself was very pleasant to read; it flowed quite well.

She walks inside of me
Between shredded muscle and fractured bone
She waits for eyes to open
So she can shine through,
With ultraviolet x-ray.
Outside is dark but free

[Definitely my favorite stanza.]

As for nitpicks...

And the girl inside

Laughs manically with mirth

[I think these are supposed to be in the same stanza?]

To insides empty of no worth

[Is this supposed to be 'empty of worth'?]

Well done, and keep up the good work!

This is really good. And what you said in the beginning, about it maybe being in the wrong category, I think it probably goes into dramatic poetry because it's first person, but it really doesn't matter. But I seriously liked this. The imagery was vivid and everything. I think maybe you should work on how you separated your stanzas. I remember there was one spot I found confusing. Anyway, good job and keep it up. I think I might start following your work.

If it wasn't for poetry, I couldn't express myself.
