p.s. R-heehee
What blasphemy is this-
that rattles the earth's core
the dogs howl, and cats meow
as buildings shake and roar
Who had the bright idea
to make the earth crumble then,
And start a vicious rumor
like high school all over again?
What blasphemy is this-
the stars gasp as they drop
Who dared to reference PUNK/ROCK Green Day,
And thought to call it "Pop"
****
Lol, I know, this is about as dramatic as it gets...heheh. Just something goofy I wrote the other day

It didn't really have anything to do with Green Day until the end, but that was pretty good. Funny at times, although Green Day sucks. Well, new Green Day sucks, but 'Warning' and '1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours' were awesome albums.
*laughs* that was great...
Your poem is awesome, mostly because it was about Green Day, but don't get me wrong it was still good.
P.S. Green Day rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your poem iz really gud!!
Awesome. I love Green Day!
sorry sweet-heart, but Greendays days of punk are long gone.
It seems the essence of punk music has been lost to this generation, but you;ve gotta understand that the stuff you guys are calling punk rock is everything true punk rock fights to not become.
Green Day sold out a long time ago and now they play the biggest venues in the world along with all the other massive superstars breeded from this so called "counter-culture".
At the very least call them pop-punk. Cause they are just a contrived little band that is trying to keep an image they shoudl have shaken off long ago.
I used to love Green Day. And I listen to A LOT of punk music. CAll them punk all you want, but you really cant argue the fact that they are as "pop" as you can get.
P.S. I thought your poem was very nice.
lol, thats funny and cool. ive only heard a little green day, but i like them and i no they are NOT pop.
Green Day is the awesomest band in the existance of the universe!!!!! SO UH!
lol, j/k
punk/rock. All else is BLASPHEMY!!!!
MAINSTREAM! MAINSTREAM!!!!!!
But... One could so easily say the same about later Nirvana. Therefore I am sworn to say "punk"
Green Day aren't punk at all.
LMFAO.
Doesn't Pop stand for popular music, though? I suppose the idea of punk rock is general to be counter-culture, though, so calling it popular music would be kind of opposite of what it is...
*claps* Bravo! Very nice.
yes, it was your true story. Lol-remember the original draft! haha
AHHHH!
(My true story...I think...unless you bought the same CD)
Based on a true story, I know.
lol, I don't know if I get it, but its funny
awesomecoaster, tehehe.
