For those of you who feel all alone in the world, please ask Jesus to help. It's different for everyone, but He sure helped me!

I once put my hope in only human love.
That's what I thought the world was made of.
So I did not hide any feelings or fear,
Until the one I was closest to, decided to disappear.

My heart was left numb, so beaten, and battered.
Like a glass that had been shattered.
The rough, sharp pieces all scattered on the floor,
And no one could heal it, not anymore.

It takes seven good things to even out one bad,
But no matter what the good was, I still was very sad.
This world has no hope, no peace, no love.
So I decided to turn to the God above.

I prayed that His love could fill my heart,
And as soon as He answered, my life could restart.
Though I know my path will be steep and hard,
My heart has been mended, although it's been scarred.

I am safe in the arms of the One that I love.
He dwells in the place that is far far above.
Night and day He watches me with care.
I am never alone, because I know He is there.

nice! it flowed very well. It's got a very nice rhythm to it. I can tell exactly how you feel about God and it's always nice to know we all have someone to lean on.

Hey there Miss!!

Looks like I'm reviewing for you today...must say nice job. I'm not all that into religion but that will not sway my judgment nor does that hold any particular importance in this review. I must say I enjoyed this deeply. The passion is nice. So is the the descriptions. I say it flowed very well and I couldn't find anything wrong grammar wise nor spelling which I'm better at than pointing out what's wrong with the idea over all. I would just like to say I think I would like to know what happened the person in this. Why is her heart numb? Why? I just want to know lol. Maybe its just me but that question won't leave me alone. Maybe adding that in? Its a suggestion and you are not obligated to follow it in anyway. I loved it and can't wait for more. Keep up the good work and best of wishes. Buenas Suerte y Adios.
