Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),
Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!
First Impression: I think this was a pretty interesting little piece here. There's a few things that need to be a little ironed out but for the most part it works quite well together and makes for an interesting first part.
Anyway let's get right to it,
Standing in a dark, blurry space , this place is quite similar to Acryl, no in real life of course.
The same man reaches out, but his face is blurry--just like the past decade of his life.
''B..........c...''says the man reaching out to Acryl reaches out, his face is blurry and unfamiliar. The man tried to say something. Even this dream continued to haunt Acryl throughout his life, he never understood what the man was trying to say, he tried various ways to make sense of this dream or get rid of it, but nothing ever worked out , it would be great if he wakes up from this weird and hypereliastic dream and sees the celing of the aircrafts cabinet.
Okayy well this is quite the start here. We've got what seems like a very interesting recurring dream being mentioned there to get us started off and immediately I think it manages to introduce a nice extra element of mystery to the whole situation.
''Wakey , wakey , sun's rising and there is no time for photosynthesis''
''Ought , Neon , how long do we have to go'' says Acryl
''Who is Neon ?''
Acryl opens his eyes ,what come in his it is the person who woke him up.He has a youthful appearance, but the feeling he gives off doesn't match his appearance; it's strange, yet familiar. He wears a suit decorated with stars and constallations. The monocle on his face is quite rare to see these days behind the monocle is a purple eye with a keyhole shaped pupil.
Well this is quite the start there. It seems immediately Acryl here is waking up to someone unfamiliar or at least someone Acryl appears not to recognize and welll given all the details we've gotten so far, it looks like we're about to run into something potentially dangerous or at least intriguing here.
''Who are you?'' asks Acryl
''Suiming , listen we are in big trouble''
''The hound , it wants your or mine life''
''Hold up , hold up , the what''
'''The hound , you never heard of it?''
Acryl runs around in his head, he has few friends, the only ones he contacts are his childhood friend Neon and his teacher. The hound what is that , some really big dog?
Well it appears this person itself isn't quite the danger yet but despite that we are seeing that perhaps he is bearing some bad news about potential danger and from the looks of it Acryl hasn't got any idea what this might be quite yet.
Suiming swipes his look on this young man , avarage height , a little pale skin , little dried acrylics blooms on his cloth, maybe the only thing stands out is his graish hair. There is no way hound would put its paw onto this common guy.
''Ok um no time , just grab your stuff and go!''
Acryl did as he says , his sketchbook , some cash , color sets and a rucksack as a new home for his belongings. He turns around and hangs his rucksack on both of his shouders , at the same time he looks at Suiming , but this time his hand holds a strangely shaped latern. The lantern has a long stick attached to it , but in the middle isn't a wick or candle , instead it is an eye staring at Acryl.
Okay it seems despite the bits of confusion we've had so far Acryl is going along with whatever Suiming is suggesting here. There does seems to be a certain level of trust there even if Acryl appears a little in the dark about things.
''Ready?''
''Yes'' Acryl answers
''Great , we are heading to the deck of this aircraft''
Acryl doesn't like this feeling , not because he has to follow this stranger alone , but because he has to climb the stairs like he is a parasite in the gut of its host. It feels like the wall is squizing him into a thin pancake he ate for breakfast.
''Feelin a little dizzy right?''
Ooooh this is a nice moment. The transition is a little shaky there but once we get to the situation itself I think it describes the effect this is having quite nicely there. It certainly manages to bring across a pretty interesting image there of how things are going.
''Um yes mr Suiming''
''Haha , take it easy , i'm not that unaproachable''
''And i left my job as teaching a long time ago'' Suiming adds
''You were a teacher?''
''Yes , that was fourty years ago''
''Oh forgot to say , dizziness is common for humans to enter fold spacetime''
''Fold spacetime?''
''Yes , yes the fold spacetime , i'll explain later , just know that you may stay in hospital in weeks after this''
Well this is quite the little conversation here. I really liked that. It helped us quite a bit in terms of getting an idea of exactly what sort of personalities these two have and also a bit of background about them. The mysterious sci fi reference there definitely helps matters too.
''And insurances won't help you''
Acryls face turns into a timeless rusted bronze statue.
Suiming spits out the joys in his gut , his laughters echos the staircase.
''Look at your face , i was just joking , you'll just be fine , worst situation is that you dissapiered for a few minute''
Word spitting and talking quicly turn off the nervous and anxiety of Acryls mind , they walked the labyrinth staircase , talking about the Euthian dome where they both came from , Suiming's students Josh and Tavia.
Well that's quite the little declaration. Loving these interactions so far. Its pretty clear these two get along really quite well with each other and even thought they appear to be heading into some mysterious and very dangerous situations they seem to be reasonably ready for it.
In the conversation they dicide to be conpanions if Acryls friend agrees.
Eternity passes like a time of blink.Suiming steps onto the deck , the warped sunlight shines onto the surface of the vaccum-empty deck like a carpet welcome their arriving.
''Wow , not gonna lie , this scene is like a painting of my teacher''
''Yeah just like the work of Canvas''
The eyeball of the lantern turns it's direction towards the other side of the deck.
Ooooh well a little bit of a cliffhanger almost to end on. I think that's not a bad place to end there. I think it works well enough with everything else that we had going on there.
Aaaaand that's it for this one.
Overall: Overall I think its a pretty decent start. There's a few bits that you might want to look at again just to make things a bit clearer but the characters were lovely, I already really like their interactions and things were mysterious enough and exciting enough that I find myself curious to see what part two looks like.
As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.
Stay Safe
