I am a Christian, and believe everything I have written. A lot was inspired by the beginning of Genesis. I just love to think of God's amazing creation, and wanted to write about it in some way. Please no rude comments from those of you who do not believe what I believe. The actual work...I'm iffy about. Is it written strangely? Did I just 'list' the beginnings of creation? I dunno. Please, please, tell me what you think, of the actual work, if not the content! THANKS!! *huge grin*
In the beginning…
There was God.
A sole Spirit; pure emptiness before time began.
No atmosphere No living thing Nothing.
The Spirit of God became lonely; no essence there was, to shine on His Power. Obsolescence to bring Him glory, for in this utter oblivion, before His Creation –
Humans Animals The world.
There was null and void, existence a joke, for silence to laugh at. So He, Author of the World, began…
Into the face of the deep, a Voice spoke –
Day Night The firmament …
Materialized at His command.
Water Earth Growing things.
He saw that everything was good.
Continued His Art:
. Moon Stars The sun.
Animals of every kind, species to rule the skies, seas, and lands.
It was good.
A single thing was left – us.
The Omnipotent Ruler, with a care beyond fabrication, Begat humans… in His own image.
Our Father founded us… for His own glory . A living world.
A masterpiece of all preeminence, an exalted phenomenon -
personally i'm unceratin about the existence of God but this depiction is beautiful. I love the way you have fragmented it. I try to do this kind of thing with my stuff sometimes but never particularly successfully. It's a really good piece of work and I really enjoyed reading it.
I'm athesist and don't believe in God, but I love the way you have written it and it's very powerful. You have an amazing writing style and very good grammar. You obviously are very passionate about this and I think that is what makes this a fabulous piece; if you don't believe in something it doesn't have the amount of care that you have used. Keep writing like this. -Wolfie
