Well personally I found these books great, they provided some light humour and easy reading instead of your usual deep and beautiful novel.
Electra Brown is a very shallow girl who fancies Jags a 'Spanish Lurve God' who she is never going to get. This is similar to the Georgia Nikalson series so if you enjoyed them you are sure to like this. Anyway when Electra parents spit up but don't actually get divorced Electra hatches a plan to get them back together which dosn't go exactly to plan, at least not the first time around. During all this she experiences all sorts of problems, from her friend self harming to her mum going out with the AA man who rescued them when Electras mum put diesel in a petrol car.
Overall these books are very witty and they provide some light relief from the usual complicated stories that you cant just pick up and read for the hell of it. Great books for teenage girls but not so great for guys.
Hope you found my review helpful.
