I have been through hell and back.
I have grown in spirit and mind.
When I was young, I was expected to be like my parents, lie and steal like my dad, to do drugs and yell like my mom, that was before my calling.
I learned to keep strong.
I've taught myself to be brave.
I’ve held family and friends in my arms in happiness and sadness.
I once died in my mom’s arms.
Twice have I seen life.
And only once have I ever seen death.
I’ve been scared for, and of my family and friends.
I’ve heard stories of life and death.
I have stories of death, love, and hate.
I am inspired to help people.
I’ve found and lost friends all over the fifty states.
I lost myself to depression. And so, I have tried to end my life but I was saved.
I will testify that there is good in the world.
And so I tell you all no matter how hard life is you can get through it.

It is always good to read about the victory of evil over good and about how a person overcomes adversity. Too often today we see films such as Damian, where evil predominates. It comes across as misleading Satanic propaganda. So reading something positive is definitely refreshing and very much appreciated. Glad to know that you overcame all those obstacles with the help of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks for sharing this very encouraging experience.
Just curious, did you get the expression to hell and back from, the film
To Hell and Back which is about the experience of an American soldier during World War Two? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Hell_a ... %28film%29 =
Reading it made me remember that film and made me pause to ponder that question.
I've never heard of the movie. When I say "through hell and back", it was the best way to get the reader interested.
Thanks for the review.
Hey, my name is Noelani, and I hope you don't find this review offensive. To tell you the bad news first is you have punctuation errors, more so at the part where it says "I've been scared for and of my family and friends". Really you should have said "I've been scared for, and scared of, my family and friends. This part really confused me. I'm not going to say that you need to continue writing and you'll get better at punctuation, because it's a common mistake. So what I am going to say is that it's always good to have someone review your writing just to make sure. When I first read your title I honestly thought you were going to do a redo of " you rock my world " by Michael Jackson because of the name" My life " hints the line in his song" you rock my world you know you're in ". LOL..... Anyway with that said you are a wonderful writer and very spiritual. I like you voice, style of writing, please continue writing.
Thanks for the punctuation tip. I never heard of "you rock my world" by MJ.
Thanks for the review.
this is really well writen
Thanks.
Thanks for the review.
Carly here;
Nice, relatable work here...I like the passion filled in this poem...
By threw did u mean through? was it intentional?
this is just a comment anyway.
Hey there, LuckHamilton, it's your favorite Thunderclan medicine cat dropping in with a prophecy (Oops, we're all out of those, so I guess I'll give you a review XP)
Alright, let's start with grammar and punctuation!
"I have been threw hell and back." threw is a word for throwing something; for example 'he threw the football'. But in this case, you want 'through'. Same thing in this line "And so I tell you all no matter how hard life is you can get threw it." You want 'through' instead of 'threw'.
No big deal or anything but this line "I am inspired to help people." has an extra space in front of it that shouldn't be there. Again, no big deal.
I don't see any other mistakes. So you're good to go.
Nice job, I enjoyed reading it!
Fun Fact: I had a little spot of depression last year. I'm over it now but I felt like (pardon my french) shit. I hate when people make jokes about it; it's not funny.
That's all, keep up the good work!
