Here is the remake on my original story of The Others (not the SB).
I gazed down at the brightly lit underground city from my perch on the top of an apartment building. The many noises of traffic just barely reached my ears, but I could still tell it was rush hour. I heard the sound of the roof door slowly open behind me. I turned around and saw a grey wolf with bright blue eyes slowly stalk towards me. I turned my gaze back to the city and said in an irritated voice, “Geomana, can’t you leave me alone?”
“Nope,” said a girl with bright blue eyes who sat right next to me. “So, whatcha doing all up here on your lonesome, big brother. I made some supper for us and it’s getting cold.”
“I’m not hungry,” I said without looking at her, I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
“You, not hungry?” Geomana asked with mock surprise. “You sick or...” she stopped short when she looked at my face. “Kresko, what’s the matter?”
“It’s nothing,” I said, trying to keep my voice from shaking. “Let’s go down stair and eat.” I stood up and made for the door, but Geomana grabbed my shoulder and flipped me around to face. I looked into her face and saw that she was truly scared.
“Kresko, I now when there’s something you ain’t telling me. What is it?”
“It’s mom and dad,” I said softly, my vision became blurred as I said, “They’re dead, Geomana, they died on the surface.” Geomana looked as if I had knocked the wind out of her, then her face turned pale, though she did not cry out of shock. Then she let it all go.
“Kresko, how could this happen?” she managed to say in between sobs. She cried into my shoulder and I patted her back. I didn’t cry once when I heard the news. I knew this would happen eventually with my parents job and I had to be the strong one for me and Geomana, my dear, baby sister.
I lead her through the roof door and down the dimly lit stairwell. Once we reached the bottom of the stairs and walked into the brightly colored hallway, I walked through the door that was opposite of the stairs and into the apartment where my parents, my sister, and I lived. As soon as I entered I smelled burnt meat, which was what was my sister’s attempt as making a dinner. Our home wasn’t much; a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and two bedrooms.
“What will happen to us, Kresko?” Geomana asked as I sat her down in a chair in the living room.
“I don’t know, Geomana,” I said truthfully, “and I swear on my honor as a member of the Wolf Family that I won’t let anyone separate us.” I walked into the kitchen and dumped the burnt meat into the trash can. “Let me make you something to eat.”

I am changing this from Chapter 1 part 1 to Prologue.
Here to crit. ^_^
I gazed down at the brightly lit underground city from atop the apartment building. You had some useless words in there that make last forever. ^_^
The many noises of traffic just barely reached my ears, but I could still tell it was rush hour.
It's just one noise. The loud raucous of rush hour traffic reached my ears.
Stop telling me! Lol. I heard the creak of the door and turned around to see who had walked up the stairs. A gray wolf with bright blue eyes stared back at me intently, slowly approaching me.
Bitterly? Irritably? Exasperatedly?
"Nope," she replied quite cheerfully. She seated herself next to me on the ledge. "Why are you up here by yourself? Your supper's getting cold." Think how the character speaks. What's her character and how would that type of person say this line? Would they speak formally? Would they speak childishly? Do they have an accent? You can include the 'big brother' bit later on, if need be.
...I muttered, refusing to look at her.
"You? Not hungry?" In mock surprise? I may be wrong, but that sounds like Kresko doesn't eat much. It sounds like, however, that you want Kresko to be a big eater. Delete 'mock' if that's the case. "You sick, or...?" her voice trailed off when she saw my face. "Kresko, what's the matter?"
Because of earlier, you could include the big brother fact here. I looked into my little sister's face and noticed she was truly scared.
Know. Lol. And ain't? Really? How exciting! Use that more often!! You know how a southerner speaks. That accent is so much fun to use. ^_^
"It's Mom and Dad," I said softly. They should be capitalized because they are the names Kresko and Geomana give them. My vision blurred as I continued with a huge breath. "T-they're dead." Geomana made a small squeak. "They died on the survace," Kresko finished. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve and looked at Geomana. The girl's face turned pale... Pale? I thought she was a wolf. I don't think we can tell when Wolves pale, unless she's not a complete wolf. The girl's face turned pale, her eyes began to water. Don't say she didn't cry, because she cries in the next paragraph. Hypocrite...
I didn't know they were hugging.
Wait...why did his vision blur? He became teary eyed earlier.
I didn't cry once when I heard the news, and I couldn't. I had to stay strong for my baby sister. I knew it would happen anyway, knowing what my parents did for a living. It sounded a bit clunky. ^_^
Led. ^_^
Er...Why not Geomana?
Meh, needs a rewrite. As soon as I entered, I smelled my sister's attempt at dinner. The meat was burning, but Geomana made no motion to save it. Well, either sentence...you say that the dinner was still being made. Earlier you said it was getting cold.
I colon, if you really have to use this format. You could just use a sentence or two. ^_^
Sat her down? How old is she that she needs your assistance to sit down in a chair? o_O She can't be too young 'cause she was making dinner.
Nice ending. ^_^ However, I'd like to see his face as he threw the meat away. Maybe he held his nose as he did it, or he picked it up after he put his oven mitts on. Lol, I dunno. Think of something to show us what happened.
Very good story. ^_^ It definitely kept me interested. What did their parents do that got them killed? I really want to know! Lol, but I can wait. Just a few grammar issues, but very well written altogether. ^_^
Remember your descriptions!
Keep writing!
Jabber, the One and Only!

I gazed down at the brightly lit underground city from my perch on the top of an apartment building.
This seems a bit crammed together.
This sounds choppy. A lot of telling. We need some thought bubbles
I stood up and made for the door, but Geomana grabbed my shoulder and flipped me around to face. I looked into her face and saw that she was truly scared
Again, this is telling, not showing. We need to know what Kresko [sounds suspiciously like Crisco
Geomana looked as if I had knocked the wind out of her, then her face turned pale, though she did not cry out of shock. Then she let it all go.
How does HE know that? How do WE know that?
I lead her through the roof door and down the dimly lit stairwell. Once we reached the bottom of the stairs and walked into the brightly colored hallway, I walked through the door that was opposite of the stairs and into the apartment where my parents, my sister, and I lived. As soon as I entered I smelled burnt meat, which was what was my sister’s attempt as making a dinner. Our home wasn’t much; a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and two bedrooms.
This sounds very unnatural. "We went down the stairs. As soon as we were at the end, we went down the hall, at the end of the hall..." See what I mean?
Overall, very intriguing. Curious of what all this is about.
