How does one find love in a world of hate
Can it be a deep desire to love
Love is what we all desire
So why are we covered in filth
We become bitter and frustrated and cold
Hatred only leads to poverty
Riches is what we want but yet poverty
They say we live to only hate
And we linger with souls so cold
And yet we still desire love
Lies and distrust shower me in filth
So why do we still desire
We only hope to achieve our desire
To end our hatred and rid of poverty
Yet we still stand covered in filth
We long to love and end hate
Envy empowers us with no love
And makes our heart bitter cold
How can one love with a heart so cold
Wanting to fulfill this deep desire
To teach one another to love
To end jealousy ! End poverty !
Ending our nations hate
and cleansing out our filth
Living with no passion nor love
Washing ourselves in filth
Only to be found in poverty
Now our bodies a stiffened cold
With the hopes of our desire
No love found nor lost hate
Why do we let hate over power love
We let hatred turn us cold
Becoming involved with filth
to fulfill our true desire
Which is to hate and live in poverty
Its not to compare love and hate
But rather to love even when we are bitter cold
Covered in filth we can still fulfill our desire
To escape poverty, and to love while we hate

Hate, poverty, filth, desire... This was all rather depressing! Hard to follow and very repetitive- Every verse is saying pretty much the same thing, apart from the last two, which are very predictable. Sorry...
Envy empowers us with no love
And makes our heart bitter cold
This is my favourite line of the poem. And makes our heartS bitter cold? bitter and cold? could improve.
Bits that I really didn't like...
Living with no passion nor love
Washing ourselves in filth
Only to be found in poverty
Bit confusing. If I'm honest, I think you're just repeating the same words in a different order and often making no sense. Sorry...
This was a stastina I wrote for english class... its supposed to have the same ending words in every stanza but the last... look up stastinas... but thank you for the review
