On the road,
The streets suck up my passion,
And sometimes,
In the distance,
I think I can see the horizon,
If there is one I'm never truly certain,
I don't want that kind of burden,
The earth and sky don't need a reason.
So the pedal's down,
Vacant seats,
Windows down,
Engine heats,
And I'm worried if a seatbelt will save me now.
The right side silent,
The mirror shakes,
The purpose of brakes,
To keep the world slow,
Slow enough to watch,
But I need to close my eyes,
Let the wheels glide,
Enjoy this ride,
If any.
There are no stop lights out there,
Just the sturdy evergreens,
Highway headlight beams,
Last vision before I dream.

Wow, excellent! I found nothing wrong with this poem! (And if there is something, I probably missed it because I'm staying awake off of a gallon of coffee xD; )
Great imagery! Brilliant! It seems, to me, like you are using driving as a metaphor to life. That's what it meant to me, any ways.
The flow was good, you had a great use of words, and the overall poem was just...exhilarating! I do hope you write and post more!
