Love Is Pain

Well, this was something I wrote when I got aggravated by someone. It doesn't rhyme:P. I haven't decided weather to call it Love Is Pain or I Beg To Differ, as either would be satisfactory. It was meant to be a song but it doesn't really have a tune as such:P So, yeh! Enjoy!

What do you see in her?
What's so great about her?
And what's wrong with me?

For five long years I've waited for you,
And still to no avial.
Do you even LIKE girls?

I bet you like her-
She's the "older" girl.
Pretty enough I suppose.

But, God Damn It,
You've known me longer,
Why not choose ME?

Love Is PAIN-
And I'm Feelin It Bad;
I Can't Deal With This
Any Longer.

They Say Over Time
Broken Hearts Heal and The Pain
Only Makes You Stronger-

I Beg To Differ.

That was really good.

I understand how you're feeling and your message is very clear.

I know that love hurts but you've just got to move on and try and get over it.

It's good that you're still friends with him though because a lot of the time after breaking up with someone it can be really hard to stay friends with them.

When the right guy comes along you'll know it

I think most of us have been there. I wrote a sad and depressing poem when a guy I liked chose another girl as well. Your poem is very good, the lack of rhyme doesn't make it any less real, if you know what I mean. I can really feel the pain of being "replaced" or "overlooked". I'm glad you're over him now :)

just one quick comment,

there's a spelling mistake in this line:

And still to no avial.

it should be avail

Other than that it's a good heartfelt poem.

Haha Thank You :D
I actually wrote that a while ago, and fortunatly I'm over the guy and all now!
Thankfully though, we still remaine friends to this day, though he's a bit of a fool to be honest XD
And the "older" girl I mentioned, he still likes her, but it doesn't bother me anymore :P
You know, now that I read over that it sounds so SAD and DEPRESSING xD which I actually wasn't...Anyway I'm just waffling on now, so Thank You ^^

Very nice hun..

I feel the pain. I know how love hurts. Although I've learned that if it's meant to be, it will be. And if not, so what? Move on, you dunno maybe there will be a better man for you =D It's what happened to me and hopefully it'll make you feel better.

*huggles* I always wrote things when my first boyfriend broke up with me, even drew pictures trying to make me feel a bit better. I now have my 2nd boyfriend and I feel so much better. He treats me better =D It's funny that my ex came to the same college as I did, lol!

If the guy you like if a friend, give him some time, he might come around and realize you like him and maybe feel the same about you <3 let's hope :D in the mean time, stay friends and see where the path leads you. It takes time...and i know it's agonizing but stay strong! =D You'll make it, I promise! <3

If you need anything... anyone to talk to I'll listen <3 PM me if you need someone to listen or get advice, I'd love to help :D

Good luck and stay strong!
