Long may the terraces last
They may have their faults
But at least they are no longer at fault
Something gone long unsaid by yourself
With your witch-hazel smiles and coughs
That forever cast you as the 'bad-guy'
The Lord is swimming in the river
And another is locked tight in his room
The virgin is at the alter
And Big Bones is up for a fight
Pissed-up and proclaiming loudly
He could take the fuckin' lot
Cut the wires to the flower incubators
Fend off the advances of the counter-weighters
Long may the terraces last
Because if they fail us now
As the heroes of the day say they will
Then false is right and night is day
Thought I would post something for you all to see.
