Liar

This is based on a quote I found online a few weeks ago.  Let me know what you think.
“The best liar is he who makes the smallest amount of lying go the longest way.” -Samuel Butler

Yesterday I told you a story,
Do you remember what it was?
“Yeah, it was about him
Have you forgotten any of the details?
“Nope”
Where were we?
“In the car, you got a flat tire”
What about the time day?
“Night”
The color of his shirt?
“He wasn’t wearing one”
Was his hair blond or brown?
“Neither, it was red”
It was red?
“That’s what you told me”
Of course that’s what I told you!
“Mhmm, so what was the point of that?”
I was just testing your memory.

Actually, I needed a reminder,
Because as the day went on my lie changed
And I forgot which version I told you…

I like the form and how you did this was great and I like it tells more of a little story in some way and it shows how we as people really do. One person hears something or tells a lie by time you hear it the whole thing was all flipped around and I like it...
