Never have I laughed so hard over a short story!
The first portion of writing had me thinking you would gradually build upon the everyday interview – and to where, I wasn’t sure. Little did I know, you were hoisting us up this incredible rollercoaster, and dropping us off just as suddenly. It was so unexpected, and I loved it. Every sentence following the plunge was exceptional. I was giggling and smiling till the end.
You had nice length and engagement with the reader. It could have maybe been more descriptive, and I would have taken out the “etc” toward the end, but other than that, outstanding work.
I feel like this should be under Realistic and Humor. Interviewing is something we all have to go through, and your twist on it was very clever. Loved the ending! I definitely look forward to reading more from you. You’ve got yourself a new fan.
