Dad, I miss you
what can I tell you?
I wish I could talk to you,
open to you
the way I used to.

Dad, do you remember me?
I know your head is doomed by confusion,
frustration, I understand your situation.

I wish I knew what to tell you,
I wish I could hug you,
and remind you of me.

No expectations,
hiding my emotions,
seeking your affection,
Dad, do you remember me?!

I really like the emotion in this. It makes me feel sad. I feel palpable despair coming out of this.
