how am i supposed to feel
what am i supposed to do
how am i supposed to act
is there a right answer
can someone please
give me
an answer
thats all i need
a sign
some hope
relief
dreams
cause right now
i feel dead inside
like a robot
following the commands of its owner
sure mom ill empty the dishwasher
sure teacher ill hand in my homework
sure director ill memorize my lines
i do my routine
day after day
but i dont feel a thing
am i supposed to feel
good?
am i supposed to feel
love?
i dont
what does it feel like?
maybe one day he'll tell me
maybe one day he'll care
but until then
i go on as a robot
lifeless, and empty.

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
I really liked this poem, but, again, as several comments before me stated, it lacked a structure, punctuation, and capitalization. I'm not saying you HAVE to have a structure and punctuation (because it's free verse; you can do whatever you want), but it might be beneficial for you to add a bit of that. Also, it might also be worthwhile for you to add punctuation. This might just be me, but whenever I see somebody not capitalizing and "I", it just bugs me.

Great work overall; this poem has potential; keep writing!!!
I thought the meaning to this was really great, but it felt a little broken. Some of the lines were really short, others were longer. I think you should choose one or the other. Also, be sure to capitalize the beginning of each thought, and make sure your punctuation is...clear (I'm not sure how to put it)...

dreams,
You could put commas at the end of each line there, but it's okay if you don't, as long as you have the last one.

Now I understand this is a lot of punctuation for a poem, and i wouldn't expect you to put so much in, but I think some of it could make this a bit better. Also, in the last stanza, make it more clear who "he" is. If you're talking about God, capitalize it. Maybe it's easy to understand and I'm just missing it for some reason, but still.
Hope I helped...at least a bit...
Hello there. I'm Ehte, here for the review.
I can totally agree with the reviewers from above. There is no structure to it. Well, it's free verse so I didn't hope a rhythm but it did not excite me while reading it. I could not feel what you were trying to convey through your poem. And you should start emphasizing on punctuation marks because they have a major role to play in a poem. I have some nitpicks.
I hope this helps you.
This was an interesting idea, and this was written pretty well, but like the first reviewer pointed out it lacked rhythm or structure. Even though it's free-verse, there needs to be that common thread that ties it all together, and I kind of felt like it was lacking that. It was a good poem, but I think it was missing that real backbone.
Keep writing,

I guess we all feel that way sometimes; like we're on a hamster wheel. I like the simple short sentences they are very powerful. Though I don't really see structure, that's fine, but maybe you should use a really RIGID structure to parallel the way all this stuff makes you feel. No real review, just an idea, I don't really see anything glaringly wrong with this, just maybe a bit generic, WE ALL HAVE THESE FEELINGS---
now use something more personal or something more unique to clearly difine how YOU feel.
Bon!
