Okay, I agree with aqua1213. This is highly confusing, which is why it has so few reviews, most likely. I don’t even understand what it is talking about, let alone whether it has any meaning. I spent a couple of minutes trying to take out words or reading it funny just to make sure it isn’t a code. Poetry is supposed to express feeling and emotion that other forms of writing are too unstructured to full express said feelings. The rhyme and words are supposed to flow along with the meaning to make an overall image of what you wanted to express. This is just confusion. Unless it was some ingenious way to express confusion, in which case, you are amazing. Maybe this is what it was about, and for that, I congratulate you. If it was not, you seriously need to do some DIY on this poem to fully express what you want it to. Keep working on it, and stay a genius! (lol)
First of all, this poem is really confusing, what all the who's and the what's and the why's.
(Speaking from the heart,...seriously)
Sure if you give it time to consider the words flowing into each other, it would make sense. But my first impression was "What?"
Really. Even though this is a short piece, you could have separated it into two. Or three.
To try,
Do.
Become.
They who do that would.
What would who (those that say she is ready)
Do?
Ready is she?
Say who, those who would!
What would that do?
Who they become do try to.
This was probably better in that way.
In a poem filled with who's and other similar adjectives, it is really confusing. Readers will IMMEDIATELY throw down the poem.
Try to make it more understandable! Even the subtle exchange of some words into nouns or verbs might help!
Overal, very confusing piece, (sorry for being so rude!) and please work on it!
