Seconds.

The man slammed his hands into the interrogation table in frustration. I saw his ID card slip out from inside his black jacket. Agent Harry Gregg. Gregg was yelling, but I hadn't been listening for hours now. I heard the monotone tick of the old clock on the wall. I smiled oddly and licked my lips.

"Are any other of the interrogation rooms occupied?" I asked suddenly. The agent stared at me. "No." He answered dryly and became flipping through a folder of papers. I stared at the clock and heard it count down a lot of people's final moments.

30 seconds. A middle-aged woman walked in panicked. I couldn't help but let a small smirk slip from my lips as she whispered to the man. I knew what they were conversing about. Agent Gregg turned sharply to me and grasped the collar of my shirt tightly, but he seemed to regain himself as he reluctantly let go.

25 seconds. I noticed the other agent had a silver diamond ring on her left hand. Such a silly thing to waste life on, love. I reminded myself to grab that when i left. She wouldn't need it anymore. The woman left the room in a rush. The man leaned on the desk and sighed. His lips moved in a question that i didn't hear. I couldn't hear much of anything but the ticking of the clock.

19 seconds. I looked into Gregg's clear green eyes and smiled. He moved in anger asking smoothly, "What do you plan to do Eris?" I laughed and said, "You'll see soon enough Agent Gregg. Soon enough."

10 seconds. I began tapping my white sneakers on the ground. I heard people outside the door telling the agent he needed to evacuate the building. He refused at first, but then began to walk toward the door. He paused and looked at me. The agent outside inquired to if he was going to leave me in the room.He nodded and said, "Let's leave the murder to her own mercy."

6 seconds. "Please close the door behind you." I said sweetly and the agent slammed it shut. I started laughing like a crazed person and stood up. I walked to the door and nudged the handle. The agent forgot to lock it. I opened the door, sat on the floor, and waited as the gas was released outside into the building.

Yeah the typos are due to my computer, the keyboard isn't working.

And the whole killer living was actually that I confused in the earlier. I need to go in and change that where its obvious that even she dies..

I would right now but I'm on my phone and it doesn't like this site very much, but I will fix that as soon as possible thank you for pointing that out!

Is this the Joker's long lost sister?

Just kidding.

There's some typo's here and there--lowercase i, no space between a sentence, murder where it should've been murderer--but overall I think I like your style.

What I don't understand, though, is if the gas was released throughout the building, why would the killer survive?
