The New Tree

The New Tree

See in me the beauty of the new tree.
The way, my sway, the autumn leaves now lay,
Frozen and fading, the price to be free -
Separate from essence; not separate from me.

Know that snow is below its shimmer glow.
Of light, so bright, that it glares from mere sight,
Virgin and pure, fresh water does flow -
Melting of coldness; not melting of snow.

Lead our seed to succeed against the weed.
That knows, and grows, to us it will oppose,
Our life, our love, in the pursuit of need -
Colour of passion; not colour of greed.

We'll not tempt fire, a path I now know,
We'll heat each other, in order to grow.
