feel free to use it any time...I didn't put a question mark because it's not a question, it's just a statement.

I made this quote a while ago but nobody ever told me what they thought of it...so let know if it's good or not:
"What is faith if not your blind trust in the impossible."
feel free to use it any time...I didn't put a question mark because it's not a question, it's just a statement.
Quotes are odd. As you can read from the signatures on this site, everyone has their own taste in what is essentially free wisdom.
Whether you agree with the advice or not is totally up to the person in question. I, for instance, read your quote and see how it could be viewed as a statirical stab at faith, I also nod in agreement. Because that is what faith is to me; not in god but in humanity.
Also, there should be a question mark
What is faith if not your blind trust in the impossible?
or maybe
Faith is simply blind trust in the impossible.
other than that, great quote! Can I use it sometime?

Hmm...I wouldn't say it's bad, but it certainly isn't an inspirational quote. It is and isn't true. I'm not going to argue for one side or the other, but you should think about what message you are trying to send, who the message is for. Are you trying to change people's opinions on religion? Or is this more in a comedic way? Maybe there could be a little more to the quote, so we understand what you mean, because when we read it we don't get your vocals or your actions which, in person, give us certain impressions. We would know that you say it as a good laugh, rather than as a weapon or whatever.
Umm . . . is that supposed to be an inspirational quote or a quote mocking faith? It kind of seems like the latter. So if that's what you were going for then you succeeded. But if not you might want to rethink your word choice.
