She, her father and was there I too?

PreviousNext

She was young. She was adorable. She did funny things. She used to say things both wrong and right. The word “Sorry” was her favorite one perhaps!

She: How are you?

Me: Good, just was working on my homework.

She: Oh! I’m sorry, I interrupted!

Me: No, alright. Tell me a thing, why do you always say sorry?

She: Do I, really? I’m so sorry!

She’s really confusing. But, no, I couldn’t be angry with her… I don’t know why but I couldn’t.

No, I didn’t love her. I don’t love anyone. I never did and I can’t. I just am in love with myself.

She had a wonderful family. She wanted many things: Car, Book, Airplane, Candy even a time-machine. Name anything!

But, yes, one thing, she perhaps wanted but wasn’t able to get. Even if she was, I don’t think she really would love to get that. That’s her father. She never saw him; she didn’t know how he sounded like. She didn’t know anything about him but perhaps just one. Yes, one.

Me: So, what do you mean you don’t have father?

She: I mean I don’t have.

Me: Are you always like this? Throwing sick jokes around?

………………….

I never gave her a chance to say anything about her life. Why? Was I afraid to fall in love with her? But, how come one fall in love with another by just knowing about that person?

I don’t have answers.

There are many questions without answers

in my stock.

Yes, she wanted a father. Not the only thing she ever wanted but that was one of the most important things of her life, I can say that.

I saw her crying that day. I didn’t go to her, to console. She didn’t need that. I also didn’t pay heed. I had more things to concentrate on than her. But, was she expecting me?

Now, I wish I could be with her. Not for her need, for mine. Why did I leave her? I wish I could take that back. But, I left, she smiled. She had a big grin on her face. She laughed laughing.

No, I didn’t love her. Not that I do now. But, she was someone, she needed a father. And, her father was a, she said, a monster.

She’s crazy, she said me so.

Now, I’m by my own, like I always was. Where’s she, I ponder?

Perhaps, listening to the crowd, laughing by her own and making people think that she’s weird!

Hahaha…

She was different!
