**Okay, so I know it's not great poetry, in fact it's pretty bad, but I had this random bout of patriotism the other night when I read something about YWS failing. I think I mis-read it, but it got me thinking about how much I love this place and everyone in it. So, I hope you can endure, if not enjoy. **
Everyday, it’s a getting better,
If your world’s too cold, you know that we’re your sweater,
You want to feel loved? Then we’ll write you a letter,
with a heart and a kiss to seal,
don’t need human contact to make it real.
I’ll keep turning through my restless mind
If y’all on this sanctuary keep me intertwined
In a snug and a boost of the good stuff.
What better time to stick together, than when it gets rough?
What d’you all say?
Let’s rock the YWS casaba, today!
Only intended in a metaphorical way,
but then, similes, irony and whatnot,
It be my life, you guys are all I’ve got-
to dot the line and work the magic with your pen
to bed the floor with poems and lyrics in our den
a cup of tea and YWS does wonders to one’s Zen.
We’re never fussing, we don’t contemplate hating,
to the literary world we keep on impregnating,
stories and novellas, a masterpiece of words, a blitz!
Tell me, my old bean- what could be better than this?
An awesome community, a merry band of thieves,
stealing glory from old fogies with tricks up our sleeves.
Learning, growing, thriving for more
most of all loving
Isn’t that what YWS is for?

Hi! I liked this poem. It flowed really well and showed YWS a little love! That's what it needs.

No nit-picks on grammar, spelling, etc. Odd for me not to do so.
Wonderful. I've ended up giving a review that's about as useless as "OMG! I LOVEEEDD your poem!!!!!!!!!!" *sigh* Sorry about that.
Anyway, enough moping on my part! Great poem. Gold star for Ms. Eimear!
Love,
Music.
Oh my gosh
It's sad, rhyming helps flow! It's smart to rhyme.
Not many grammar or spelling errors! It was inspirational too! Bravo!
I loved it! It was great! It flowed tremendously well, and it rhymed! [s]Poems here lost their rhyming[/s] No poems here anymore do not rhyme much anymore.

I loved how it flowed. Not very sing song, but it was very personal and down to earth. If you're British, I have to say, it's very British
. Otherwise, I didn't just say that, right, right!?!?!
Just noticed this, comma needed, but overall, I really liked it. We here be tight knit, a bit like, you know, like tight knit things, only most of us don't live anywhere near each other
