Bad Dream

Silence, not a sound. Nothing, not a word. Today I buried my grandmother. As I write tears flood my face but I will not say I can no longer go on. The sad truth is life does go on. Even if we wish and pray that it didn't, it does.I will have to grow to do without her laugh, her smile and her silly mistakes. I'll have to learn to be with out the saint who taught me everything, who made me who I am and who made sure I was always true to me.
I can't say she would be sad to go. Seventy eight years on this plant the last sixteen spent waiting till she can see her husband again. I hope he was waiting for her, like he promised with his last breath. I hope that where ever she is, she's happy and living in love again. I'm glad she will never have to feel that waiting ever again.
I'm sorry she is gone, I hate the fact I will never get to share my thoughts and feeling. I'll miss that freedom. I'm sure she'll be watching over me, she always said she would.
She spent years waiting on pains in her heart, hoping and wishing that this time would be the time it killed her. I do not blame her for wanting to die, nor do I blame my Grandfather. It's not their fault they were in love. Without their love I would not be here. Love is a strong emotion, strong enough to last even beyond death.
Today has come to an end and so has my story. So Gran I hope your happy, I'll she you again, someday. If not today, tomorrow.

I'm sorry for your loss. :( I don't know what I'd do without my grandma. But anyways, I like how you put things, the order and wording. I like your style of writing. I really like reading these real situation stories so to say. To actually critize this, I'd just say to maybe make it a bit longer, to keep your readers more into it, making them want more. Ya' know? :P

I really liked this and I hope you and your family are doing okay with your loss. I hope you keep writing. :D

It is a very heartbreaking story. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Your language is great and the simplicity gave the story a nice touch!
I was definitely pulled in as a reader.
Perhaps next time you'll make it longer for us (readers) to enjoy ourselves even more?

Good job,
I am sure they are proud of you.

Keep Writing,
VNT Quest.

It's a very touching short story. May the both rest in peace. I loved your short sentences, good usage.

I suggest you reread your final sentence 'I'll she you again', I suppose it's 'I'll see you again', right?

Stay strong and inspirational !

Thank you. Yes it was I'll see you again. I always seem to do that. :)

Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.
