This is a beautiful poem.
It makes the reader involuntarily answer the questions and it evokes emotion.

Because it is a poem, and poems are supposed to be gramatically incorrect, it will be a short review.
Now to the review...uggh.
This poem was very unique. The whole poem is a questionarre. it is the questions asked in the poem that made me like it.
Does the thought of them eat away at you on the inside?
This line creeps me out because of the fact that it seems that these "Them" are clearly not wanted.
Conclusion: All in all this was a great story.

Quick note. When I first read the title, I had this sense of formication. Yes, why do you say that you ask? There is an old 1955 movie called Them! and it's about giant ants attacking a city. Anywho, on to the poem.
This is a good poem. I wonder how it was unedited. Just the whole idea asks questions, and thank you for making it into a poem. A poem just of questions. For some reason, I don't see that often. "You loved them so much, why did you let them go?" It brings questions with in questions within questions. I love that. I do want to see more from you. If you can write poems like this so fluent, I ask myself another question. Why haven't I read any of your works. This is great, bravo.

Thank you! I've never seen myself as a good poem writer, and this is the perhaps the only one I've ever written, and the only one that's even mildly good. These poems come to me in a dark time so that's why you don't see them too much. I don't normally write during that time. Also the unedited version was just a couple of things, like a period instead of a question mark and something about texting which made it sound directed to teenagers. Great story, great rythem, ugggh, rhythm, I can't spell that word:)
You have the basics of a great poem here! The only part that started to sound like the rhythm was falling apart was the last 6 lines. Maybe make the first 3 shorter to mach the last three or visa versa.
