Hey there Dawnpath!

So, I am a big fan of fantasy and a huuuge fan of dragons. Dragons are awesome! For that I highly approve of this poem right from the start.

On a more serious note though I love the duo-dimension of this. I could sit and pick it apart for hours, depending on whether I think of the dragon as a parent, a friend, a teacher. It can be interpreted in so many different ways and that is the kind of poem I really like.

The line 'I wonder for your taint' is odd. The rhyme here seems very forced, like you've just tried to find anything that worked and stuffed it in. I find if you're struggling for a rhyme it's always best to try two or three posibilities.

I really wish you'd taken this further. Longer lines, more stanzas, and most definately more imagery, maybe even break out of the rhyme scheme all together. All of the emotion is there and often that's the hardest part to write into a poem, so great work on that! Hold on to that emotion. Just be that bit braver and take it further than you have already.

I'm a little rusty, but here is my poetry. I wrote it just now and I haven't editted it. To say tha my dragon doesn't exist is a flat out lie. Silverdragon is a person that, while I have never met, I hold very dear. I met her off the sight, on a place called the Warrior Cat Forums, where she is known as Silverwind. However, I haven't seen head, tail, claw, foot, scale, fur, or scruff of her in over two months. I miss her very much.
