Dragons are generally bad in the Bible. Satan is a dragon in Revelation (as well as king Herod) and a serpent in Genesis. And yes, I remember the Leviathan. The book of Job (Iyyov) is one of my favorites.

I used pencil, pen, and then painted it with a computer program.

Hey now, don't go knocking dragons ;) (Might I direct you to Job chapters 40 & 41, where the creature Leviathan sounds a lot like either a T-rex or a dragon.) BUT ANYWAY. Awesome picture! What medium/media did you use?

Actually, most of the time when the Bible alludes to a leviathan, it is talking about a whale-like creature, like in Moby Dick, for example. That is the denotative meaniing of leviathan, anyway. And it's true, Satan is depicted as a dragon in Revelations, sadly. (I am a dragon-lover, mind you ;)
