I am such a huge fan of short works. I like things that just get right to the point and make every word count, even though it's not that many words at all. I really love the poem and it was easy for me to relate to this. You touch on everyone's past loves. How the person felt important, big, and special...then all of a sudden someone walks into their lives and breaks them. After that, they're so shy and careful...walking on eggshells(or how you described it as flowers....beautiful, by the way) in hopes that they'll be able to regain themselves back but you still have that pain there because you'll always remember. Great poem, seriously.

Now that was simply beautiful. It simply gives off the bitterness and hate that someone would show to those who've wronged them and ruined their lives forever, while still having the strength to do so with the hope that it can be undone. That's just what I get from this. Was this in the Spotlight? If not, I'm surprised, because it deserves/ deserved it!
To add on what I've said earlier about the mood, it also gives me a serene feel. I hope I'm not repeating myself too much.

~The dark one.

Really having a hard time not jumping up clapping Bravo Bravo. But all try so lets start with your diction it aids in the mood staring off airy and almost dream like to a solemn tone which was nice touch. Your imagery and detail while little aids in your piece. In this its actually better with how it is not to long not to short. Just right. If i had to pick a favotie line it would have to be

'Then, I encountered you.
You ruined me.'

I enjoyed this line because it speaks volume of the writers thoughts toward the one they encountered.

Really can't find anything negative about this so im going to end this with a Great work and keep writing my Brilliant friend!
~Fallen

O.k. this was quite lovely, and I find it hard to give any criticism at all. But I've had lots of nit-picky practice, so I hope I'm not to harsh, because this really was very nice.
Firstly, beginning at the end, I think "somebodies" should actually be "some bodys." I don't know if this is a grave misunderstanding of meaning but there we are. As I read it the latter would improve things, but I am highly skilled at missing clever poetic devices.
Second off, I think you might want to re think your line gaps. They do not seem to flow as well as they could. The first is particularly jarred. Again I might be missing something incredibly clever. Don't take my word for gospel, it just seems to me that it would be better off a little more free form than as it is.
Thirdly and finally, "You ruined me." Seems rather too plane. I mean, that is what you want to say, but those three words don't seem to match the more elaborate nature of the rest of the poem. Perhaps something like "You lifted me amongst the Gods, but just to drop me underfoot. " or preferably something much better, but you get my drift.
I hope this helps you in some way, as I hope it helps the green team win review day.
Yours in reviewing,
Take That You Fiend!

This poem is very short yet very good. In just ten verses you have managed to make something which is quite sad which I think is a success.

Kamryn here to review your lovely poetry!

Wow. This is so amazing and the message is clear even though it's short. The word choice was awesome.

"I speak in flowers"

Perfect. I love that you made that metaphor. It flows well with the piece.

"You ruined me."

I felt that was the strongest line of the piece. It's so amazing that one line with such simple words can be so powerful.

Amazing!

With Love,

Kammies :)
