Song: Manipulative
He says he loves her
You know she loves him
I can't really tell
On her he descends
--
Says he'll kill himself
Just to see her cry
Walks out the front door
Waits, then comes back in
--
You hear them screaming
You hear her wailing
You see him walk out
Only to come back again
Manipulative
Oh, boy, yes he is
Says he won't come back
To see her cry and need him
--
Wish I could slap him
But, can't get involved
Makes me so angry
Problem I can't solve
--
You should protect her
Boy, and not hurt her
Doesn't deserve her
Couldn't be more sure
--
You hear them screaming
You hear her wailing
You see him walk out
Only to come back again
Manipulative
Oh, boy, yes he is
Says he won't come back
To see her cry and need him
--
One day she'll realize
The problems he's caused
It's time to let go
Stop being involved
--
Let go, let go, girl
You know you're drowning
Let go, let go, girl
And stop his hounding (X4)
--
You hear them screaming
You hear her wailing
You see him walk out
Only to come back again
Manipulative
Oh, boy, yes he is
Says he won't come back
To see her cry and need him
--
You hear them screaming
You hear her wailing
You see him walk out
Only to come back again
Manipulative
Oh, boy, yes he is
Says he'll self-destruct
To see her cry and need him

This is a song inspired by a couple I know. They're a homeless couple living in our popup camper. This is what the boy does to her. She's very co-dependant. He says he'll leave, kill himself, and never come back. He'll actually walk out the door. She'll let out this loud wail that I can hear from inside the house.
He'll come back a bit later.
He's, also, VERY possessive of her.
It's almost like she's suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
I wanna smack that boy right across his stinkin' face.

Hey Chelse, T here. Actually something like this verse happened to one of my friends recently:
Well the guy actually didn't do it because he wanted people to cry for him. Anyways I like the song and it was easy to pick up the beat. No nitpicks I see so your good on that. All I really had a problem with, and this is just me, I thought it was a bit too long. But otherwise it was good. Keep writing (or singing).
