That's what happens when you cheat. I guess he didn't realize that even though that his date was blind, she has other senses, like the sense of smell, taste, touch, and hearing that replaces her lost sight. At first I didn't realize that she was blind. I just thought it was about this person who is going on a blind date.

I didn't see anything to nitpick. I will scold the guy though. One, for the flowers he could've said that he bought them for her. Two, He has a wife! Why would he cheat on her? Three, Don't underestimate someone because they are blind.

Keep writing!

Good idea about the flowers! I'll remember that. :) Thanks for the review.

Alright this, this was is nice. I like what you did with the title, it made me kind of surprised (in a good way) when I found out she was blind. That's actually pretty cool I haven't really read something that involved blindness and affairs so it's an interesting setting. I kind of thought the speed of when she found out about him having a wife was a bit fast, could have put in a bit more time in between her finding out. I like how you put both perspective in this but I think I found a mistake (don't know if you meant it) but during the woman's part there's the part "Taking off my sandals" but as the mans part "and takes off her shoes" so I that's a mistake. But other then that it was pretty interesting.

Welcome to YWS and thank you for the review!

Wow, this was intense. It took me a moment to realize that the girl was blind, which isn't a bad thing, but it might be useful to find a way to show it sooner. I enjoyed the way you told the story from both points of view, but only if it was a short story like it is now. If you wanted to make a novel out of it, I would stick to one point of view. Also, thinness and thickness of hair doesn’t depend on what color it is, so I would maybe improve on that sentence a little. Maybe focus more on the fact that it was a long strand of hair and her boyfriend only has short hair. The only last criticism I have is that there was no way she would have known if he was married or if he just had another girlfriend. Clarify that a little?

Otherwise, I loved it! Keep writing!

Thank you! :)

You're welcome!

Hi Cheetah, Roma here
First of let me start by saying I love the concept. The switching between their views was done flawlessly. However the only problem that I had with your piece is that you can't tell that they've been in a relationship for awhile. Also I'm not a big fan of how careless Henry comes across. Other then those two things, I enjoyed this piece.
Roma signing off ^_^

Thank you!

I really like how the speech is exactly the same fron each poibt of view but there isn't too much of it so it doesn't get in the way of the story. I also like how it sort of remembers that wanting to help out a disabled person is kind of instinct even if it isn't necessary or even wanted.
My only criticisms were about context I think. Basically, I think you maybe could establish quicker that they are in a serious relationship because it would make te betrayal more profound. Also, how did she know she smelled perfume of a wife? He could have just been two-timing or something?
But the premise was really good and I loved the structure :)

Thank you, I will take your critiques into account. :)

you're welcome :)

Hi, Cheetah! Okay, I'll get straight to it.

That was soooo good!

Seriously, I loved every a second. The sudden switch from Clara's perspective to Henry's, the details, flow, all perfect! No errors that I spotted, either, which is awesome in itself.

This was just fantastic. Unfortunately you leave me with nothing to scrutinize or correct, so this is pretty short, but let me tell you I ADORED this!! Great work.

Thank you so much!
