Chapter 1: Therapy
"So you're telling me that a teenager, looking like less than a day over 18, is working for an organisation named 'Devils Advocate'?" my therapist questioned, her face scrunched up in confusion from such an absurd claim. Her glasses were engulfed in fog as fast as a shower window. Even though you couldn't see her eyes, I knew that she was glaring at me sternly.
"I'm POSITIVE that I work for such a deadly organisation as that! No doubting that I'm your deadliest patient and can kill you in a second! Haha!" his laugh trailed of thoughtlessly as he waited for his therapist to question his claim. Though it was the second time I've said it, I guess that's just how ignorant these people who claim to be a professional in therapy are.
"Leon, I really want to believe you but, this bold claim is making me coincide with the doubt hidden in my mind," and, I would say I took that personally. This happened to my old therapist! She doubted me and after I killed a person close to her to prove my job, she quit her job. I wonder why such a FOUL act occurred... The room I was in was a dull grey colour, reflecting the dull, boring 2-hour sessions that come with this. I don't get the reason for therapy. I already know what's wrong with me, why do I need a lesson on something I already know? It makes no sense.
"I mean, I'm not lying," Suddenly I had an idea to persuade her that I was in 'Devils Advocates'. "But..." to counter the therapist's objections, I reached into my handbag located on my side and pulled out a knife. A knife soaked in blood. "I do have a knife filled with my enemies blood and organs! Wanna try it out?" the therapist's eyes pierced through the fog accumulating on her glasses. Her jaw dropped like a fish gawping its mouth; her white skin went pale; her hairs sticking up.
"I-i-it says no weapons allowed in the building, how did you get through security?" her stuttering showed how nervous she was as the presence of the knife sent a bone-chilling shiver down her spine.
"They just weren't there! How sad for the day you may die, for no one to stop me! How sad!" Plastered on my face was a blood curling smile and my blood-red eyes symbolising my thirst for blood.
"Did you kill them?" I nodded, brandishing my knife filled with blood "You're crazy!" the therapist stood up, starting to stand up, waiting to seize her moment and run to the door.
"Aint it obvious?" tears swelled in the therapist's eyes as she stared solemnly at the door. "It's because I'm the devil's advocate!" Using all my strength, I lunged at the therapist, the knife in front of me. Scared, she closed her eyes and tried to remain calm. Yet, she couldn't help but scream. She clenched her fists and shaking, waiting for the inevitable. She reminisced about her family. Though, that wasn't enough to save her. Or could it?
SLASH!
By the time I had made it to the therapist, she had vanished from where she stood. She had just avoided the most painful death she could have ever experienced. In defeat, I stood still and thought why I even signed up for this organisation to become an assassin. Looking behind me, I walked out the door. Outside, bodies piled up behind the desks and blood splattered across the walls. All of this was caused because of him because he was...
