You

I miss the times,
where nothing mattered,
time would just pass us by,
and we were forever young.

I miss the hand holding,
the stolen kisses,
the knowing glances,
and the warm embraces.

I miss the white lies,
when we would vanish into my room,
the light laughter of sneaking past parents,
and to the places that only we knew.

I miss all these,
but most of all,
I just miss you.

Awe, this made me sad. I've felt a lot like this before, and you did a good job at expressing it very simply. It isn't so much a broken heart poem, because you can tell the heart is still trying desperately to hang on. Anyway, I like it, and I miss you too!

are we even writers if we never did huge research and used none of it?
