this was really cute.. when i saw the title i was intrigued and said to myself "interesting" and it really is i like how you compared almost everything of math to love which i find pretty cool eventhough i dont really like math but other than that it was really cute i really liked it and enjoyed it aswell
When I was reading this, I was kinda nodding my head. I agree with what you were saying. It was really cute. Keep up the good job.
I love that you used two completely opposite things and compared them. I would have never thought of the idea to use math and love as an equal. That's very nice. punctuation may be needed but other than that amazing job! I also like the wording how you used rhymes. And when you said your the apple to my pi. Well that was very clever. You have alot of potential as a poet.

Hey there! Okay, so as far as concept goes, I think this is great; that being said, it really needs to be cleaned up a lot. Punctuation would be really helpful to ensure that a sort of rhythm is maintained, and I think you should take some more time to really chart out what you're saying, because you kind of seem to lose your vision in places when you take off rambling.
Give this poem a little more work, and it will be lovely.
That being said, there were some clever lines here, and they definitely made me smile.
Anddd, last but not least, welcome to YWS! If you ever need any help on the site, have questions, or need any reviews, feel free to ask me! I don't bite (often).
Keep writing, and best wishes. xxx
Hi there!

This is such a cute comparison. Nice work.
Many of us don't enjoy math that much, but I must say, I enjoyed the poem.
I think you could have easily complicated the piece a little, making it more interesting. But other than that it's a good poem.

Alright, it's been a while since I've done a review, I suppose you get the honor of my first review since review day.
First off, I like the title; it intrigued me and made me stop to read this even though I wasn't planning on reading anything. I'm in calculus right now, so I'm in deep with math, and I always think love is an interesting topic to read about.
So, props for the idea and the title, an overall this wasn't a bad piece. It was pretty sweet but I think it could use some work. Here are a few of my comments and suggestions.
I really think you could add some more math. I mean, yeah you said pi and talked about addition and percentages, but that's it. I wish you had more math terms in here, more references to math. I mean, by the end of this I really couldn't see how love was like math. Just because it's tough? That's just way too easy and plain. I want detail and evidence and more information.
I mean, I got a little bit of "oh this is cute" when you said all I need is you, but I definitely wouldn't call it love. Just a little bit of cheesiness, but if you're going to title your poem love, you need to really talk about love. You should make your reader feel in love, or at least want to feel in love.
I liked this, but by the end I felt empty, like I hadn't really gotten anything out of it. I think the best way for you to fix this would just be to add more. Make this senimental, make it nerdy, make it sweet. Detail! Imagery! You can never have too much of those two when you write poetry.
Hope this helped, and I hope I didn't sound harsh. Feel free to PM me or write on my wall with any comments or questions.
Interesting idea...cute and funny. I hate math but this is sweet
Good work!
