Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
Your content is absolutely spot on, it's perfect the way that you kind of insinuate it instead of just coming right out and stating it. It gives the piece this sort of nuance that to me is beautiful.
I love the way that you broke this up, it flows really well throughout the stanzas. The only thing that I can really critique is those instances where you broke up the words someone, everything, and everyone, because when I was reading the piece it created this extra pause that messed with the flow that was going so well up until that point, then there is just this abrupt pause before it smooths back out.
The ending was short and sweet, rather like the entirety of the poem. I thought it was wonderful.
Really liked this!
It has quite the beat going on, and I really liked the bits and pieces of a subject matter that you slipped into the work - it's subtle, but it works to a great degree. Especially loved the line:
''That's not the way the world works in my vision, where the sky is not a real blue.''
I think that one sentence you could improve on is in stanza four - ''you don't need to tell me that I am okay being myself and that everyone would accept me.'' - it's slightly run-on, and even though it's used to a good degree, at least in my opinion it doesn't really work well with the next sentence; ''that's not the way the world works in my vision, where the sky is not a real blue.'', since I got a little confused there. Or maybe I'm just getting everything wrong.
Slightly nitpicky here, but maybe you could end it with a firm ''.'' instead of ellipses to establish that you simply am, and leaving no room for query like ''...'' would provide?
Generally very-well done - good job! This is my first time reviewing so I'm really sorry if it's not what you were looking for.
wow, that was amazing
keep up the good work
