WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY

Waiting here,
Transfixed upon the vastness of the sky,
I am left wondering who put me where I am?
What purpose was set before me,
As I first began to breathe the air of this toxic world?

Wise I feel,
In finding comfort in the unknown,
Accepting that the sky holds much more than just,
The soft glow of the moon,
and the blinding blaze of the sun.

Everywhere I see a war.
Up above,
where heaven watches down,
driven by natures intention for domination,
the nights fight the days to bring darkness across the earth.
And below,
where hell looks up,
blinded by the fear of the fall,
humans compete on levels beyond necessary.

It seems a sad world, lost of true love and passion.
But in those rarely captured moments,
where the sun and moon sit on either side of the sky,
and people look deep into eachothers eyes
I wait still...
believing I wouldn't have it any other way.
