2095.
Series: The Time Warp Trio (It's on TV as well)
Author: Jon Scieszka
Main Character(s): Joe, Fred, Sam
Story so far: The year is 1995 and Joe Fred and Sam are in the American Museum of Natural History and they have this time machine called The Book. They were bored in the museum so in The Book they got out the magic square and they typed in the year they wanted to go to — 2095, 100 years later. But when they arrived, the room they were in looked nothing like the future, it looked like the past. The only thing that looked like it was from the future was a vacuum cleaner that was talking to them. A lady came in and told them that they were in a museum of Rooms of Past Exhibits in the 1890s room. They didn’t want her to know that they were kids from the past so they ran away from her but when they went outside nearly everyone on the streets were flying. They also met their great-granddaughters called Joanie, Frieda (Freddi) and Samantha who told them they must go to the present time or they wouldn’t exist.
What I expected at the end: The boys went back to the present time.
I would recommend this book because it is a good story about time-travel and there are other books in the same series. There is also a television adaptation of the books.
