Forgiving Your Enemies

Forgiving our Enemies

We all know that forgiving our enemies isn't easy. We tend to let our pride get in the way of forgiving those who have hurt us or said something behind our backs. Many of us would turn our backs to the mirror of forgiveness and just tend to disappear in our own little world. But why should we forgive and love our enemies? That is because we have God who is always ready to forgive us even though we don't say sorry to Him:) Forgiving someone should come from your heart and not only from your mouth. When you forgive, you forget about the things they have done to you and move on and just have a fresh start between the two of you. Never hold grudges because you will surely regret them. Remove all the hatred in your heart by praying to God everyday, and remember! Always forgive others as God always forgive you. IMPORTANT TIP : Forgive your enemies as you don't know when your last day on earth will be.

Hey there!
Alright, this is very inspirational! You always hear people say "Forgive and forget" but the short version is never as good as hearing the long version.

When you forgive, you forget about the things they have done to you and move on and just have a fresh start between the two of you.

Wise words, and I love the tip you added at the end. That's so true. When I first clicked on the link I thought this was going to be some 6 paragraph essay on some logical reason why we should forgive people we don't like, but the way you pulled God into this was brilliant. When people say forgive and forget, they forget a little more than what their enemies did. They forget why we have to forgive and forget. You think when God died on the cross, he was still holding a grudge on everyone who had put him there? No, God died for us, not because he could or because they forced him on the cross. People forget the true meaning of the forgiveness. It's not letting it go for the moment, it's letting it go altogether.

This has me on my soapbox xD I really like this, and if you have anything else that needs reviewing, let me know and I'll take a look at it :P Until then, keep motivating and forgiving.

And stay insane, all of the best writers are c:

SO true! I love your transparency here...and I totally agree about forgiving from your heart rather than from your mouth. Great job. :)

I am big enough to admit I am often inspired by myself.
