Music,
My one true escape.
Freedom in every note,
It is a liberating feeling,
One I cannot live without.
All it takes is the droning sound of a guitar
And I have drifted,
Soaring along a path of colourful rifts,
The drum beat dancing vibrantly in front of my mind’s eye.
Oh how I long to be there every waking moment,
Gliding through my head, devoid of care.
I think of nothing other than that enticing tune,
Still raw and animated in my head from previous adventures.
I can almost hear the voice,
Like it is singing to me.
It describes a journey as I drift away from reality.
I cannot imagine my world free from;
The Singer’s call,
The Guitar’s screech,
The Pounding Drum,
The Deep undertone of Bass.
They would surely lock me up,
For I would be want of a sound mind without it.
The music keeps me grounded by setting me free.
As the melody fades into the background,
I fret for just a second,
Where did your lovely siren go?
You were there so clearly,
Now just a vivid memory,
A thing to remember in deafening silence,
Never to forget your pull over me.
Fighting to control myself,
My senses explode with overpowering delight.
Because;
The next song is starting...

Hey there, Azzman! I have to say I really enjoyed this. Your topic is one that I think many people can relate to, myself included. Though I may not see music as my one true escape, I'm nonetheless very passionate about it. I think my favorite line was this:
Yeah, it definitely was.
To be honest, I'm at a loss for what to say. I really couldn't find anything wrong with this... Great, great job! Keep writing stuff like this. I'll keep an eye out for anything else you might do.
