Skeleton Grin

Spoiler! :
Alright so, I was on a Speech trip this past weekend. And I decided, on the way back, that I would listen to Nightmare Revisted. It spawned this. I don't really take this that seriously, but I do like some of it, and it's...less..creepy...than the other poem. I guess this is from Sally's point of View

I think I like your skeleton grin
Just like the rest of you,
It’s really quite thin.
I think I like your skeleton grin.
I believe I adore your odd way of thinking.
It separates you from all the rest,
My dear pumpkin king.
I believe I adore your odd way of thinking.
I think I like your skeleton grin.
I’d like to get to know you,
Know all the places you’ve been.
I think I like your skeleton grin.
I’m getting accustomed to your pale face.
You think it’s all a joke,
But that is not the case.
I’m getting accustomed to your pale face.
I think I like your skeleton grin.
Loving you too much,
That is my sin.
I think I like your skeleton grin.
I imagine that you don’t feel the same.
I mean I’ve avoided you,
Ever since the day I came.
I imagine that you don’t feel the same.
I think I like your skeleton grin.
No matter how hard I try,
Your heart I cannot win.
I think I like your skeleton grin.

AsxLoversxGo,

Yes, I'll have to admit this was creepy, but it was good. The only thing I would advise is that you break up the whole poem into stanzas before you say 'I think I like your skeleton grin'. But that is still up to you. There was really much to review, because this was a well written poem. A little creepy, but good :D.

WHOOOOOAAAA! That's waaaaaaaaaaaay creepy! Awesome creepy though, not a "Oh my gosh I'm gonna go pee my pants" creepy. Well, creepy's not the right word either... nope, not that word... hmmmmmm.... gimme a second......

Oh! Okay, so I think it's sweet and sad, with just a touch of creepy awesomeness. There, that pretty much describes what I think of it. It's very creative, the poor- I assume it's a girl?- is in love with someone she probably shouldn't be... or am I reading the poem wrong?

Great work, at any rate!
